vintage inspiration friday...

I do not know about you but this week went by way too fast for me ~ I did not get a chance to get everything done that I wanted to!! However, I am glad it is Friday ~ Vintage Inspiration Friday that is hosted by the lovely Debra over at Common Ground. I "met" Debra early in my blog adventure and I am amazed and inspired by her every day (thank you Debra!). Now, as I mentioned before I am starting my Fall "to do" list. My nest needed a good cleaning before I can bring a bit of Autumn indoors. Of course, my good intentions of cleaning the whole house before I did any feathering went by the wayside very quickly. I started a new vignette on the ledge above my new white couch (still love saying that!). While it is not quite ready for a reveal I thought I could share with you the inspiration for it. Remember when I showed you my only cabinet card of my Nana? Well I made a copy of her and put her in this sweet old frame... I want to warm up the room for the fall and am hoping I am off to a good start. I love all the rich colors in her photos. Do you like the paper I put with it... I picked this up at AC Moore yesterday and started thinking this might work out well for the upper part of the walls in my booth makeover! What do you think? I am sure you have all visited Tammy over at Tattered and Timeless. Her new space is the inspiration for my booth makeover (thanks Tammy!). Before I go soak up some inspiration over at Common Ground, I just wanted to say thanks for all the sweet comments on my Cinderella moment post the other day. Jim did not bring home all my "stuff" to get started but there is always next week! Enjoy your weekend and thank you for visiting!!!

Love what you did with the photo and love the paper too! Happy redoing your booth. I KNOW that is a lot of work. Would like to work on mine too, but just don't have the energy right now. Want to do mine??? LOL

Very sweet frame...love the sheet music idea! I know what you mean about the 'clean before nesting' thought. I think we need to get some points though for good intentions! lol:)
Thankyou for posting my button!!

I like the paper and I think it would look amazing on a wall in a booth. I hope you share pictures if you do it.

Hi Sandi, love the way you framed the picture of your Nana with that great paper. Hope your booth redo and nest feathering is coming along nicely. I have so much to clean and do and organize. Reality sets in tomorrow with the kids back to school and a full time work load. Have a great rest of the week. :) Tammy
