my new space and an old mirror...

I moved into my new space at the shop a few weeks ago.
Thank you Jim ~ I could not have done it with you!

The lighting was not the best every time I took photos but I have waited long enough to share.

Before...

After...

Here are some close ups...

I tried to talk Jim into keeping the old mill cart for a coffee table.
It was a big NO.

You might remember the sewing machine base table from my
Paris Hotel Suite.
I will share next week what I replaced it with.

I sold quite a few things out of this corner and have been gathering more treasures to fill it in.
I picked up this old contemporary looking mirror, maybe from the 70s...

I almost forgot to take a before photo!
Jim added an applique for me.
Ssshhh ~ it's a little crooked...

I think it looks much better now...

And as for the crooked applique...

My lettering came out crooked too, so I guess it evens out...

What do you think?

Thank you for stopping by today to take a peek in my new space at the Wrentham Country Store.
There have been quite a few changes lately with some of us shop girls changing spaces as well as two new dealers joining us as well.
Hoping to see some of you soon ~ the shop is definitely worth a road trip!

I am joining Debra as she celebrates her second anniversary of hosting Vintage Inspiration Friday!
Congrats Debra and thank you for hosting each week!!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Lordy, lordy such a sight! I absolutely LOVE your new space Sandi! I'm drooling over all these white pieces (oh those frames!) and eyeing all the little treasures, too. You've done an amazing job at the space (Jim, too) and crooked or no - that mirror came out fabulous.
Okay, so describe to me where I find this new space when I walk in the door. I want to imagine it in the store.
Michelle and I had better take another road trip soon!

Your booth is just beautiful! I see so many things I love, including those gorgeous white night stands. Great idea to transform a once dated mirror, it looks lovely!

It looks really, really nice, Sandi! You have some beautiful things in there. Nice job. I'll bet it was a challenge to set up because it looks like it is a long, narrow space- xo Diana

Sandi,
What a lovely booth, dear friend! I'd LOVE to take a Road Trip...but from where we live..."Mr. Ed" said "NO"! We have a similar Singer Sewing Machine base with an enamel top! Love it for doing projects...wipes clean easily! Everything here is askew...thus our name is a good fit, On Crooked Creek! Ha! Your mirror is quite marketable with the embellishment, lettering and coat of paint!!! I love that your new booth is light, bright and spacious enough to move about! Much continued success, dear friend!
Fondly,
Pat

You've filled your space with some amazing pieces! The bedside tables are beautiful as well as the mirror on top of them. It isn't surprising your inventory is flying out of there!

ohmigosh! GREAT job, Sandi! Everything looks awesome. Trying to picture where in the shop you are now. Is it take a left and then right into a side room?
or all the way back?
