a visit with maureen...

Thank you all so much for the lovely compliments on my Paris Hotel Suite! Today for the wonderful White Wednesday that Kathleen hosts at Faded Charm I am going to give you a little peek inside my friend Maureen's bedroom where she has the most dreamy white furniture. Maureen is another shop girl at The Wrentham Country Store where I have my booth. Along with her husband Pete, Maureen was so sweet and helpful when I first joined the shop and began feathering my little corner. Now if you drove by this adorable house you know you would want to take a peek inside... I love the white picket fence! Their house looks so warm and inviting...aren't we lucky Maureen has invited us in! Here is her beautiful bedroom...I love the headboard and look at the wonderful tiara top mirror and vanity...She also has two bureaus full of beautiful details...Wouldn't you just love to have a wonderful old bedroom set like this! I can't remember if she found them white or if she had to paint them. Maureen and Pete have the magic touch when it comes to giving an old find a fresh coat of paint. I told you all yesterday that I didn't know if I wanted to paint my two old bureaus ~ well these pretties are inspiring me to do so. Maureen is in the middle of getting new dreamy white furniture for her living room (did I tell you I have a white couch on order myself?). She is also having some painting done and having her kitchen cabinets shabbied up a bit too. When the dust settles I am sure she will invite us back. Til then look at the pretty mirror and what it is reflecting... I am so excited to see what Maureen has to show us next!! I think I introduced her to blogging and hope one day that she has her own ~ it would be incredible!! Thank you Maureen and Pete for letting us take a peek inside your home. Thank you for stopping by and have fun on this wonderful White Wednesday!!

That really is a beautiful bedroom, it's very reminiscent of the first bedroom set I inherited from my grandmother. Sweet memories. :-)

O, I do love her white furniture. just beautiful.
White seems to be taking over the *blacks of yesterday*...I really would love to paint some of my furniture white but....I am still in love with black, too.
