I finally got to Ikea and bought another pair of drapes to match the ones in my living room... The den opens up into the living room so I thought I should have the same look and I love these curtains. Light and airy with a bit of texture to them. They are sooo long but they give you some tape to iron on to hem them to size then you just cut off the excess. I like the puddled look though. Still looking for a little something to hang above each door. See the pillow on the chair... I have been wanting to get a monogrammed pillow so when I saw this I had to get it. The "F" works for us and I figured the "X" could stand for all of us or a relative that has passed it along. Yes, my family is still laughing at me. The other monogram they had was "MO". The bin was filled with just those two, guess I missed something. The little makeover my den has been getting is almost there. My love seat was covered in a blue twill slipcover from Pottery Barn that I need to list on ebay... I bought this lighter, softer one at Bed Bath and Beyond... I got the wonderful vintage mantel mirror on ebay... Look at the shade on this vintage oil lamp... I kept my eggs out for some spring touches. I love the colors which are in the pillow too...
While I like the little cabinet I have my printer on... The desk has got to go...Look what I found to replace it... I love this! Of course it is going to get a dreamy white makeover. I am hoping that Jim will be able to do something so we have the sliding drawer for the keyboard. Just look at the detail... I am joining Faded Charm for White Wednesday today, thank you Kathleen for hosting! While I am almost there with my little den makeover I am sure I will get some more inspiration peeking at all the other posts. I know you will be inspired too! Thank you for stopping by...see you soon!

The room is looking great. I love the layered look and the picture frames really added a lot to the windows. Great curtains too!

Your doors look wonderful with the sconces on them and I would never have noticed the writing was upside down!
I love your drapes, I'm looking for some for my giant sliding doors so maybe I'll check out Ikea!
Hi Sandi,
WOW, everything is really coming together nicely! Love the doors with the scripted frames, the perfect marriage. And the drapes, gorgoues. I have to make it to Ikea one of these days..
Hope to see you in the shop in the next few weeks.

Very pretty, I think the desk has great bones and is going to look awsome white.
It's all just beautiful!!!
I love white. LOVE it and yet I don't do it. I go to other blogs and sigh deeply at the beauty and simplicity of it. How versitile...how ..how...anyway..you get the point I'm sure. Everything looks wonderful in your room..
Your room is coming right along. It looks wonderful and I love the cabinet doors on each side. Thanks so much for sharing what you decided to do.
Hope you enjoyed your Wednesday.

ALso, I really like your header and background.
HI Sandi ~ Great job on the re-do. I would do bad things for that mirror too. Love it! Can't wait to see the desk after its makeover.

Well haven't you been a creative busy bee - but everything looks perfect! I especially love the framed items in the framed items on the walls - great description huh! Glad I stopped by, Jennifer jennsthreegraces

I am LOVING that mantle mirror! oh...dear! You are lucky you saw it first! ;)
(I don't think you and I could ever go shopping together, haha) ;)
Thank you for lending a hand to the new bloggers. Your comment was so sweet!
As for those frames, they are perfect for the cabinet doors. Don't they have a bubbled glass in them? I think I have some identical to those! :)
(like i said...it's not a good idea we shop together :)
Have a wonderful weekend girlie!
Hi Sandi! I just put 2 sconces under my beautiful cherub sign:) I love how it looks!
You asked if I'd been to the Cats Meow in Venice, FL...that doesn't sound familiar but we only stayed one night in Venice. It's such a cute little beach town!
