This one is dated 1930 and I wish I could read her handwriting better to get her name, although I can read "are you going bathing with...". Oh my!! Now, here is Jerry ~ she dated it 1926 and hopes Freddie ~ won't forget "Jerry" - "the girl with the terrific laugh"...

I just fell in love with Freddie's girls when I saw them in a local shop. There was an old box full of old photos like these and I poured through it looking for Freddie with no luck. I wished I could have taken the whole box home but the photos were a bit pricey. I intended them for my booth and thought it would be fun to create a vintage theatre dressing room area. Freddie's girls have that old time Hollywood look to me. Now that I see how great they look in my Paris Hotel Suite I just might keep them for a while (ssshhh). Maybe one might just sneak into my giveaway!! Don't forget...my giveaway starts this Sunday, 10~10~10!! I was so excited to tell you about my giveaway yesterday that I forgot to show you another piece I picked up that I might keep too...
I love the color, all the chips and scratches and the handles but wonder if it is too "country" for me. I keep looking at it and think "farmhouse" instead. French farmhouse. So I think I will ask the boys (thanks Jim and Jake) to bring it up from the downstairs kitchen (my painting area) and see if it fits in my nest somewhere.
