homepage bliss...

The other day one of the items in my Etsy shop was featured on their homepage! I was actually on the computer when it was being featured! It was chosen when "Romance" was searched. Here is what they featured...Just a very simple embellished lady in a vintage scrolly frame, one of my first attempts at making an assemblage. I copied this lovely image off of the cover of The Etude magazine I have that is from January 1921...
I thought she would be perfect to start off my White Wednesday post so I can join in on the fun over at Faded Charm. I thought I would share some whites from my craft room. My simple little framed pearl "S" on the door...
I love this chippy old cherub vase with lots of wonderful detail...

One of my Mom's vintage brass lamps that I painted white...
This old Dundee marmalade crock holds my paint brushes...

Lovely cut glass pedestal dish with a distressed painted white metal base...

I use it to hold little thank you tags to stick in with the treasures I sell on Etsy. Speaking of thank you, I would like to thank Jackie from Bliss Farm Antiques for visiting the shop the other day and taking time to visit with me for a bit. She is so sweet and her blog, brick and mortar and Etsy shops are beautiful and inspiring! I know she'd love to hear from you!

I'd also like to thank you all again for making me feel so welcome and at home since I've joined the wonderful world of blogging. Today marks 1 month since I started my little musings and I have 50 followers or kindred spirits already that make me happy to look at my blog for a bit of homepage bliss!
