inspiration hutch...

The lovely Cielo over at The house in the roses is hosting Show Off Your Cottage Monday.  I thought I would show you the hutch in my studio that I finally cleaned up after holidays.  I gave each shelf a little theme.  This one is dedicated to my Nana...
French was often spoken at my Nana's and that is where I learned my first french word...

So this vignette is "pour vous" Nana (Helen) Mary...
This next shelf is showing off the colors and textures that are inspiring me right now...

Pink is slowly disappearing from my nest ~ roses too.  These beautiful shades of blue are in my dried hydrangeas that I have been spreading around the house...
A flower frog from my collection holds my birthday and the pretty velvet ribbon in the little jar wrapped my gifts that I won from Maria's giveaway...
I am sure you all must know by now that Maria has finally opened her online shop.  I have my heart set on a few things already!  Last on this shelf (but not least) is the big ol' ball of twine my husband brought home last summer.  I tucked in a picture of my Mom when she was 14...
Love the rosy cheeks!!

Just because the pinks and roses are slowly disappearing around here does not mean it is easy.  I sort of gathered a few pieces from my studio that I am not ready to part with yet...
I love this little sugar bowl as well as the pink milk glass plate.  Vivienne still likes them too...
Thanks for letting me share my inspiration hutch today...
I am off to take a peek at all the other cottages over at The house in the roses.  I hope you all have a wonderful week!!

Very beautiful and inspiring! So many lovely things! I adore the fan, the colors and the photos of your dear mama and nana! I seem to be moving away from the pink a bit, too, but I will always love it and have some around (especially roses!)

Love your hutch. The colors are great too. And that clock in your previous post is a treasure. My in-laws had a clock that chimed all the time. I definitely couldn't live with that. I need quiet time especially for sleeping. Hydrangeas are beautiful whether alive or dried. Best wishes for a beautiful day. Tammy

Hi Sandi,
Loving all your pretty touches. I really need to do a makeover in this house. I have parted with a lot of my pink rose items too , but not all. Where did you get your french flash card that says bonjour? Love it! I have some , but not that saying.
Hugs~

You have a lot of lovely treasures in there! It's funny, I've never had a lot of pink but just started getting a little bit recently. I love blue but always get lost when I try to decorate with it!

I've lessened my pinks too, but still love the color. Your blues are so romantic and pretty!
