advent calendar...

First, I want to thank you all for letting me know that I am not the only one who starts another project mid-stream of umpteen other ones!
Second, I know I promised to show you last week my new project that I started and finished all in one day, but I sort of got busy.
No, I didn't start another project.
I was off having tons of treasure hunting fun with Mary Ellen and Karen from the shop.
Thanks girls...can't wait to do it again!

My new project was to make another advent calendar for our Vintage Holiday Open House.
It all started with a tiny tree...

A touch of whimsy...

A few vintage trinkets...

A little tinsel and stamped ribbon...

And I ended up with this...

I really enjoy making these!
You can see other calendars I have made over the years here and here.

I will be joining
Blissful Whites Wednesday
and

Thank you for stopping by ~ have a great week!

Fa la la la la - you have outdone yourself Sandi! I adore this Advent Calendar, and love how it's surrounded by that gorgeous frame and simple chicken wire. Brilliant! Glad to hear you enjoyed a shopping spree, too. Tell the WCS gals I said hello!

That is so awesome! I love it. I will be looking for frames this next summer to make one for me next year. I sure don't have time to do it this year.
