vintage fall market weekend...

Well, it was a beautiful Indian Summer weekend here in New England!  As the temps hovered around 80, the shop was full to the brim with vintage treasures and shoppers.

All the shop girls did a wonderful job giving their spaces a new look.
This is what greeted our customers when they pulled in...

Then Jeanine and Susan had this great display to welcome our customers in to the shop...

Mary Ellen, whose space is now called "The Vintage Shopkeeper", created a fabulous display full of creative vignettes...

See the wonderful arbor in the middle...

It was the perfect place to hang her new sign...

She held on to a lot of finds from Brimfield and flea markets just for the show...

All her spaces looked amazing...

I want to thank you all for the nice birthday wishes.
I have been sick all weekend, even yesterday on my birthday.
Not feeling the best today either but I am off to the shop to work, hoping I will feel better as I get going.

I have so many more photos to share of the other shop girl's booths this week!  Hope you come back to see!

Oh, and make sure you come back on Friday as I am having a giveaway!!

Happy belated birthday Sandi! Hope your day was fantastic! Did you get that trunk that was on your "wish list" from Bill and Lee's space? I hope you feel better too..no fun when we don't feel our best. Your pics of the Market are awesome. I have more to add too, since I brought my camera to work with me on Sunday. Oh, and I wanted to tell you that I added some of those little clock faces of Mary's to my Shop Sign to give it an extra punch. After all, I AM a Shabby Moment in TIME. *smile~ I'll bring it back in this week. And I will definitely be back for your giveaway. Can't wait!
Blessings & hugs,
Karen

Hi...Happy belated B-day!! Yes, I headed to the Cape this past weekend...didn't get there til 9 pm on Thursday nite and I was planning on coming by the shop on Monday, however I got distracted at Outlet mall with all the sales and didn't get out of there til after 1:00 - as I sat in the parking lot contemplating stopping bu or heading home, The thought of MY BED won me over...My best friend ran me ragged on the Cape - too many drinks, up too late, way too much food and I shopped til I dropped - but we will certainly meet some day! I have the trip down to 4.5 hours to Wrenthem, so maybe in the spring if I can play hooky and leave school early! Weather was perfect - 86' on Sunday as we had brunch on CC Railway from Hyannis to Canal - -Hated to leave!! Hopefully you had great success on your sales this weekend!
