my little tree...

My little tree has always greeted family and friends at the top of the stairs when you enter my nest.  It has seen many different themes over the years and this year it holds my small collection of vintage pink and aqua ornaments...
This morning I added some vintage looking tinsel garland and took a few close ups of the ornaments...

They are all in really good condition and I did not pay more than $3 for any of them...

I also have some vintage looking Belsnickle Santas in pink and aqua...

However I think the cutest part are my two little ones under the tree...
I got this wreath years ago on sale from Pottery Barn...
My little collection of faux mercury glass that I picked up at Marshalls, TJ Maxx or Homegoods is just perfect to add some extra sparkle...

Sorry for the glare but I am not complaining about the sunshine!!  Every day, as soon as it starts to get dark, my little tree is the first to shine it's lights for me...

I think it is the perfect way to welcome my family home at the end of their day!  I am sharing today with Linda of Coastal Charm over at Nifty Thrifty Tuesday!  Have a wonderful day!

I have the same wreath and it is
in front of my large mirror right
now! I never thought to put my
little tree on that same buffet!
What a cute idea! I love your
pink ornaments! Just beautiful!

How darling your little tree is Sandi! It's going to be a while before I build up a good collection of Xmas whites, as of now most of my decor is very colorful. We put our tree up but I'm trying to get decent pics of it lit up, so tricky!!!

Gosh, I really need to get cracking, don't I? I keep thinking we'll get a tree, but we're still moving, so I may just have to live vicariously through you. :-)

XOXO,
Anne

What a welcoming sight, Sandi! Your little tree is just so pretty! Those ornaments look a lot like the vintage ones passed down to me from my parents. And your kiddos are just adorable! :)

This is so much fun seeing everyone's Christmas decor!!!

Your home looks so warm and inviting, Sandi!

Is there anything more beautiful than vintage pink and aqua??? I really don't think so! What wonderful ornaments on such a beautiful tree--a perfect greeting sight for your guests!

Hope you're having a wonderful evening!

What a beautiful welcome! I have a little tree this size I sometimes put in my bedroom. The lights from a Christmas tree always bring such cheer, no matter how small the tree!
