what a weekend...

What a weekend we had at our At Home With White Event at The Wrentham Country Store!!
I arrived early Saturday morning to help Mary Ellen with a few last minute preparations...
Can't believe I did not think to wear white!!!

Mary Ellen spoke a few words to welcome our customers and thanked them for patiently waiting until our advertised opening time of 10:00...
We had many people pulling in at around 8:30!!

One of my fellow shop girls Karen of A Shabby Moment In Time and I were getting ready to capture the excitement of our grand opening...
I am sure I do not look as cute as she does in the photo she took of me!

Then the shopping began...
And it was crazy busy all day long!  Our customers were so excited and complimented us on our beautiful displays and how they felt like they were at Brimfield!
Wow...thank you!

The beautifully sunny day was full of fun and laughter.  Meeting new customers and catching up with our regular customers was just great.  The energy level was high and then ~ the bloggers started showing up!!

Diane from Passionate for White looking beautiful as always...

Then, the sweet and lovely Wanda from Vintage Fleurs drove down from New Hampshire...
Thank you again Wanda for my beautiful gift!!

Another pretty lady shopping the tent was Jo~Anne Coletti from Vintage Rose Collection...

Now the day was just so much fun but it was about to get more exciting!  The beautiful Susan from Evelyn and Rose came to visit...
Susan and her adorable daughter Audrey.

It was so nice to finally meet her!  My cheeks hurt from smiling so much!  She came with her family and it was so cute to watch her shop with Charlie and Audrey.  And to top it off she has the most patient husband, letting her shop til she dropped!  Thank you Brian, we had fun!

So there I was, feeling all happy and excited ~ looking around at the shoppers and enjoying the sunshine when this sweet, petite, lovely lady wearing the biggest smile was coming toward me.  It was a blogging friend who came to surprise me...
Michelle and Me.

The lovely Michelle from Petite Michelle Louise!  What a wonderful surprise!!  We have been blog friends for quite a while and it was just such a pleasure to meet her!  We just started chatting away like we have known each other forever!
Thank you Michelle...you really made my day!

Thank you ladies for making the long drive to the shop...it was truly a pixie dust moment for me to meet you!!
Susan, Karen, Michelle and Me.

I would like to thank all our customers for making this event such a huge success!

Big thanks to all my fellow tent girls (and a few guys) for creating such fabulous displays!  All your hard work was worth it and I am so lucky to get to work with you!  I can not wait to see what you create next year!

I also want to thank all the other shop girls for making their booths inside the shop look amazing for the weekend too.  I have never seen the line to check out so long!!

Thank you Mary Ellen for making this all happen.  Thank you for making me a WCS shop girl.  Thank you for being my friend!

Last, but most important, I want to thank my wonderful husband Jim.  I could not have done this without you...
I Love You!

Thanks for visiting today!  I have a lot of photos to share with you this week.  Photos full of fabulous treasures and the people who put it all together!

What a weekend!!!

passionate for white...

The weekend weather here was just beautiful which made it perfect for people to get out and attend our Vintage Holiday Sale at the shop!  Now I will admit, I get jealous hearing all you fair goers down in Texas and out in Ohio who get to meet some of their favorite bloggers at those big events.  Well guess who I got to meet on Saturday...
The lovely Diane from Passionate For White!!!  It was so exciting  to finally meet her!  She comes into the shop quite often but never when I am working.  I am sure you all know her already but just in case you have not had the pleasure yet here is a little peek at some of my favorite photos of her home from her blog...

She truly is passionate for white and a sweetheart as well!  Thank you Diane it was such a treat to meet you!!!

The shop looked amazing for the sale, although I was not quite ready to listen to Christmas music for that long this early!  Here are a few displays that caught my eye...

Mary Ellen did a wonderful job creating these displays...

I just love this neutral palette with a little bit of sparkle.  If you like a pop of color she has that too...
Karen's shabby booth made my jaw drop...

Pam has these sweet ornaments...

As well as these vintage Chatterbox books...

I did pick up a few treasures (with my eye on a few more) that I will share with you soon.  I am joining the fun today over at Faded Charm where Kathleen is hosting White Wednesday (thank you Kathleen!).  Have fun visiting all the other wonderful white posts and do not forget to visit Diane over at Passionate for White too!!

suite additions...

Happy White Wednesday everyone! We are enjoying some beautiful spring weather, finally! I hope you are too. As promised I am sharing the wonderful white treasures I found while thrifting this weekend as well as one found on ebay. They all ended up in my Paris Hotel Suite. Do you remember the vanity vignette that I shared with you on my first post ever which was on a White Wednesday... Well I just recently sold the pretty rose adorned vanity tray in my Etsy shop so I found this one to replace it as well as the most beautiful hand mirror...The hand mirror is quite long and just stunning! Look at the detail...
Do you think it looks awkward on the mirror because of its length or should I keep it next to the tray? I think it is the prettiest one I have ever seen... This next little pretty I have been eyeing at the shop for sometime and I finally scooped it up... I love this little shoe! Sweet and petite and full of detail... Here is my new find from ebay... I bought it to go in the shop but when I opened the box I fell in love with it! Especially when I read the little plaque on top... Well I have a busy day on tap...fluffing at the shop...and fluffing (and cleaning) at home since my new white couch was delivered yesterday!! It is so pretty but you know how it goes...new couch makes the carpet look even older, maybe some new accessories are needed and so on and so on. Hoping to share it with you next week. Well before I start my busy day I am going to take a peek at what everyone else is sharing with Kathleen at Faded Charm for White Wednesday. If you want to enjoy more wonderful whites visit Diane over at Passionate for White, her blog is just beautiful!! Oh and don't forget about my giveaway, it ends tomorrow! Thank you for stopping by today to look at my sweet suite additions!
