not just another book post...
I know, you are probably thinking not another book post but I just can't help it! While working at the shop yesterday I spied this little beauty...
I knew it would be perfect for this spot in my craft room...
Perfect fit for my fall vignette...
Jim gave this to me the other day and I knew it would be perfect here too...
He thought I would just use it for the obvious...
He was right ~ my little bird needed a new nest! My room has become a disaster this summer but these two new treasures made me tidy up a bit...
Although I did clear a spot on my table to make these sweet little packages (thanks Sandi for the idea!)...
I made them for my booth...
I put them with my decoupaged dress forms in my little suitcase display...
I still have the ones I got from Sandi in Vivienne's bath tub (he he)...
That is an old photo ~ I sold that little wall hanging in my Etsy shop. I miss it there so I need to make a new one. I thought I would also show you a few things at the shop that are on my wish list...
I love this little shelf made from old sewing machine drawers. It would be great in my craft room for storage or to display some inspiration pieces. I love this old glass cabinet too...
I am thinking that it would make a great display case for my booth after it's makeover which I hope is before the holiday season! Well, it is still raining here so I am off to Faded Charm where Linda is hosting White Wednesday ~ she always brightens my day!! Happy White Wednesday to you and thanks for for visiting!!

playing dress up...
I wanted to do another one but the rainy weather was making an afternoon nap sound really good! Especially after a night around the campfire with my girlfriends ~ and knowing that the skies would clear I would be sitting around another fire that night!! I am not sure if I will put this one in my Etsy shop or in my little corner at the shop. Until I decide she is sitting on my mantel in front of my favorite mirror, the one that started my collection...

lifting my spirits...
Happy Friday! Have you ever had one of those days when you were a little down and did not know why? Well that was yesterday for me. I decided to head over to the shop and put some new treasures in my little corner. I thought I would share with you some photos of my re-feathering...
I have had these suitcases stacked with one open on top filled with goodies but decided display them all closed for a change with some new little pillow sachets...
I love the pink and brown toile, crinkly ribbon with rosette and they are filled with lavender. I got them on Etsy as well as the idea for the hand stamped vintage hanger.
I hung a sweet little wall pocket above it with a vintage piece of chenille peeking out...
I also just finished giving an old Cushman Smoker cabinet table a coat of white paint...
I definitely began to feel better as the day went on. I am so happy to have this space and always enjoy re-feathering it! I love when I bring in something new and get to "stage" it with pretties...

We have alot of movie production companies that come in often. Imagine seeing something you created on the big screen...
I finally painted an old ladderback chair too...
I had to shut off one of the lights since it created too much glare in the photos. I love these old enamel house numbers...
We had a hint of spring last week but it is rainy and cold today. Hopefully spring will be here to stay with summer soon to follow. I have a few signs for cottages or beach houses...
I still have one "Spring" sign left too. Look at this cute little baby planter with sweet roses in the wheels...
These storage boxes were originally blue but, of course, I painted them white...
I also have some of the lavender scented pillow sachets in a blue and brown toile...
Looks like I caught the sweet little birds kissing and there is the other box I decoupaged. I also added a lovely vintage powder tin and metal powder box with original puff inside...
After a few hours of fluffing (time passes so quickly when I am there) my spirits were definitely lifted and I was smiling...
Peeking at my display with my little decoupaged eggs and boxes...
Inspired me to come home and create these...
These were so fun and satisfying to make! They took a bit of time but I think it was well worth it. I am trying to decide if I should put them in the shop or in my Etsy shop (or both if I shift into high gear!). Well yesterday started off not too good for me but ended up being a great day! With a few more of these dress forms to make, today is looking great too (despite the weather)! I hope you all have a wonderful day and weekend!!
