coloring...

I've been coloring in the living room, changing this...

into this...

Here is a closer look...

I borrowed a pillow from my den and am trying these shutters out from the shop...what do you think...

I also changed the mantel a bit, digging out my dried hydrangeas...

Also borrowing my faux firkin from the den...

I brought back my other mirror for over the mantel...

...renested my decoupaged eggs...

...and brought out my old carrier filled with my dried hydrangeas to add more color in front of the fireplace...

I was craving a little color and am happy the results...

Now off to Jennifer Rizzo's to see how everyone will be welcoming Spring into their homes!
Thanks for visiting!

Lovely pops of color Sandi! I adore those shutters (what's not to love about blue shutters) and your pillow and dried hydrangeas. You've been happily busy!

Love the hydrangeas in the white bucket. The white background in the room
with pops of color is great.

Oh yeah.. the shutters are perfect, you should definitely keep them, they look so great with the colors in the hydrangeas. Although i love love the other mirror, the weight and shape of the one over the mantel now really works. I love hydrangeas when they fade to the perfect shade of grayed down blue that yours have. Nice change!

You've added just the right amount of color to put a little spring in your room. Now we need Mother Nature to cooperate! Your room looks lovely.

Everything looks so lovely. The shutters give just a little pop of color and, being the southerner I am, I love the hydrangeas. It all looked pretty before, but change is always good for giving a lift to the spirits, especially this time of year, when days can still be a little gray. Thanks for sharing your changes.
