I am sure you all, or should I say y'all, have been seeing the posts from the girls who are all loaded up and heading to Texas for the big shows. It has been exciting to see their sneak peeks of some of the wonderful treasures that they have been rounding up for their displays.
Seriously, I do not know how they part with some of those fabulous pieces!! As I am preparing for our event I knew the time would come when I just could not part with a treasure (or two)...
I have been scooping up old clocks here and there for my display. When I received a box lot from an auction I won I just could not part with this little beauty...
Now I need two more to start a collection...
I have also been busy decoupaging more eggs for my booth...
And I am working on some for the event too.
I wish I took a before photo of this old frame. It was an antiqued gold...
I love it white...
Thank you Sandi for my sweet little nest!
The details are so pretty!
It is so pretty that I can not part with it...
I knew the time would come!
I am joining Kathleen for White Wednesday and Sarah for Good Life Wednesdays!
Have a wonderful day!!

I know, I know, I know! Just when you think you have "enough"..you find more. I have a hard time parting with some things that I "need" too! Have a great Wednesday! xxoo Diana
This is why I do not have an antique shop because I would bring everything home and not want to sell anything!!! ;P
Beautiful displays Sandi and I ADORE that clock. I wouldn't have parted with it either. I'm so glad you love that little mirror and wicker table you bought from me. I had them both on my farmers porch last year. Would LOVE to see pics of what you decide to do with them.
See you soon,
Blessings and Hugs,
Karen
well i'd have hard time parting with it too. that clock is adorable and , yes, you need 1 more.....another "collection." that's JUST what you need. what you REALLY need to do is bring it to "the event" so i can scoop it up! :)
Oh me I could so relate to this post. It is so hard finding items you think you will resell and then getting them home and falling in love with them. I try and try to declutter, but items just keep pulling at my heart strings. ~~Sherry~~
You create the best vignettes Sandi! And don't tempt me with those lovely eggs!!! I adore mine and they have remained on display since I got them:)
Happy WW!
Oh my, I couldnt agree with you more. I could not part with those beautiful things either.
This is MY problem too Sandi! I want my booth to be full of things I like, but then I want to keep them. It is not good! lol
I have an adorable little clock just like yours. Love it!!
Have a wonderful day!!
Everything looks so
very beautiful!!
You know what is so fun
is that you can keep anything
until you are over it and
then get more ~
It is so much fun!

Beautiful whites!!! Love the clock!

I'm so glad you're keeping that clock. My father had a green one, and the face looks identical. The hands would glow slightly in the dark.
Cheers,
Lisa x
I seem to have that problem more often than not, which is why our garage looks straight out of Sanford and Son!
Oh, I am drooling over all your whites, Sandi, and getting excited for your event! That clock is perfect (lucky you to find at auction!) and I don't blame you for not wanting to part with it. You don't ever want to regret seeing something go.
Happy WW!!

It's a good question...how do they do it?!! I'm with you:)
That clock is adorable!
I have the same problem. I buy things thinking they will go in the shop but my favorites always find their way home. Love the clock.

Oh, I hear ya! It's so hard to let some go. I adore your vintage clock. I like the eclectic look they give to a room. I hope you find a couple more. Beautiful frame too.
My husband keeps telling me the idea is to sell and make money. Haha! I don't get it:)
Hugs!!!
Getting first dibs is a really good thing. You don't have to beat yourself up about passing over that perfect piece only to find later that it is gone, gone, gone. You can scoop up those perfect pieces and then if you get tired of them, pass them along. Lucky you! Sending warm wishes your way. Tammy
I have been looking for a white serving dish like the one in your post. Haven't found one yet. Did you paint yours, or did it come that way? I love the thrill of the hunt as they say.
I don't know how you can part with a lot of the beautiful things you have! :) That would be so hard. You are stronger than I my friend. :) I love the clocks and I would hang on to them too! Love the eggs, they are so pretty!
The details of that frame are so pretty in white. I love little old clocks like these too. Good keepers!
Such beautiful whites today! If you have a chance to stop by, you will see my whites are of a different nature!!
LOL!!
Hugs,
Debbie
i love those eggs... and i would have kept the clock too!
Sometimes you just gotta keep a few things!! You can always sell it later!! That's one of the perks of having a booth!!
All your vignettes look lovely!!
Sandi
That clock is amazing I would be keeping that too. Everything looks so wonderful. Much luck to you as you prepare for your event. Happy Wednesday!

So pretty, Sandi...love your clock!
Such lovely items - glad you are keeping the vintage clock as it is divine. I'm dropping by from A Beach Cottage's Good Life Wednesday and am now a new follower too :O)
I BWHAHAHAaa'ed when I read that all you needed was two more clocks and you would have a collection..ain't that the truth!! I had one or two of those old clocks..then friend's started to buy them for me....I now have a BIG collection somewhere in my attic...they may reappear in the new house...or not.
First visit..from Sarah at ABeachCottage
I have a hard time parting with things also, but when I think where in the world would I put it....a price tag gets stuck on it and it gets packed away to sell.
Love your decopauged eggs:)
Kathleen
Iam telling you guys...its a sickness, kinda like a wart you can't get rid of. Its the "I want to keep it all" sickness. I have had it for years!!
I think it would be hard to part with all those wonderful things too. I love your little clock, I've been thinking a little collection of those would be nice :)
~Tricia
I just love all of your beautiful treasures... I have a hard time letting go of my things sometimes too, that's why I have a building full of stuff!
hugs~~~ Daphne
♥Love your blog♥
these little clocks seem to have their own little personalities... this one is particularly charming, i don't blame you for keeping her!
cindy
I can understand why you can't part with that little clock. I think my collection now stands at 36!! Just when I tell myself I can't buy anymore, I find one I don't have and it comes home with me :)
Have fun collecting!!
