booth makeover...

Are you ready?!!  I know you are sitting down at least so let me just remind you what my booth looked like before...

I tossed a few ideas around in my head and on paper and the wait was driving me crazy...

So, after an early day of fishing (a cold one too) and after putting the boat away for the season, Jim met me at the shop after my shift and we got to work ~ well, he did at first...

I have to tell you, I could not stop smiling and even Jim gave me one...

I am sure you feel the same way ~ it is the little things in life that melt my heart...

With my new beautiful walls up it was time to feather this little corner...
After a few hours and many, many glances at the clock from Jim I was done...

As you can see the ol' typewriter found it's home on the desk I made over and I staged it with the numbered chair...

I just love the way things are popping against the wall with glimpses of the vintage sheet music...

I love the way the back wall came out too ~ I wanted a mix of words and mirrors...
I was going to use the shutter in a different way but I think it looks great as a shelf...

I am thrilled with the way it turned out!  I have two more doors ready to go for the last wall and am in the middle of finishing the last one.  I also need to figure out what I want to use for shelves ~ I do have a great old pink plate rack that needs a dreamy white makeover.  I am so looking forward to seeing the whole space complete...

Thank you so much Jim for all your help and support in my shop adventure!!  I also want to thank Kathleen for hosting White Wednesday today over at Faded Charm ~ I hope you all have fun browsing all the inspiring wonderful whites everyone shares today.  Thank you all for visiting today and if you are ever by The Wrentham Country Store stop in and say hi!

Oh it looks so good. I wish I were there so I could see it in person but this will have to do. The doors turned out great. I love the whole new look. Tell your hubby kudos and thanks - we couldn't live our dreams without them. They are truly the backbone of the dream.

It's gorgeous, I love the doors with the music sheets as a backdrop. It's so much more pulled together now, and the signs unify the theme. I love that chair you did, it's so pretty.

All that hard work paid off. It looks amazing. Loving the pop of the black lettering. Isn't it wonderful to have a big, strapping, handsome man to give a hand now and then? (Is he reading this over your shoulder...that was for his benefit!)
Y'all did an excellent job! High Ten!

What a nice change...so pretty. I love the doors as a background...and I love the shutter shelf idea! I recently saw a clever idea in a local coffee shop that might be cute in the shop: Take 4 doors and hinge them together so that you have 4 cornered sections...from above, an X. Triangular shelves were placed in each corner for more support and then items were hung on each section and on the shelves...quite eye catching - if I explained it well enough for your minds eye!!
