back to the bakery...

Remember this beautiful sign I got from Paula's Etsy shop, Castle & Cottage...
I thought some of my Mom's milk glass plates might look nice underneath but was afraid to commit... This weekend while working at the shop a customer bought the sweetest little plate... I was thinking as I wrapped it to go how lovely it is and can't believe I didn't spy it first! I quickly went over to the booth where it came from and believe it or not there was another one! So yesterday I looked for the perfect place for it to nest and look where it ended up...

I think it was meant to be! I read a lovely blog post the other day about rhubarb being the name of a color...somewhere in between pink and red. I can't believe I didn't bookmark the blog, it was so fabulous!! Well I am going to call the border flowers on this plate not pink, not red but rhubarb! Now I would just like to find the perfect little treasure to hang above my framed scrapbook paper... I would also like to find some lighter curtains for spring and summer to replace these that my Mom made...
While the pattern is full of soft roses the fabric is a bit heavy looking. Maybe I will find some when I finally get to Ikea to get another pair of drapes for my den.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I am joining in on the fun over at Metamorphosis Monday hosted by Susan of Between Naps on the Porch for the first time. Please take a few minutes to check out all the wonderful before and afters...have fun!!

that looks very sweet! And I love the chalkboard too! When I used to be a part of a brick and mortar store I was always buying from the other booths....bad but so much fun. xo Have a super great week.

Your sign is beautiful and it looks great with the plates under it. Thank you for visiting my blog and I was so excited about my giveaway win the other day, I'm waiting for its arrival before I blog about it:) I loooove your Etsy shop and I have my eye on something that I'm praying doesn't sell before I've saved up for it!
