perfect fit...

Back in February I showed you my little den makeover.
While I am very happy with how the room turned out this wall just needed a little something...
I originally had thoughts of mixing some architectural salvage with vintage mirrors.
I finally bit the bullet and committed to a new look.
I started by switching the trumeau style mirror with the old 6 pane window that I already had behind the printer...

I like it much better.
Then I replaced the window behind the printer with another old chippy one I already had that has a few panes with a greenish tint to them...
I bought some old shutters at the shop a few weeks ago and decided to use one as a shelf over the desk...
What do you think...

As you can see I used a few of the treasures I found over the weekend to dress it up...

I thought the old oil can looked great with some of my Mom's old pitchers...

I kept the wooden advertising piece and put one of my vintage flower frogs in front of it...
I need to find the perfect little something to stick in it.

I put the wonderful old tin next to a vintage clam rake I bought at the shop...
I love it and think it fits perfectly in the room...
Now I just need to find the perfect chandelier...
Those spots are in the mirror not on my ceiling!

Thank you for visiting today!
I am joining Kathleen for White Wednesday today over at Faded Charm.  Next Wednesday I am hoping to head to Brimfield.  Anyone else going?
