Today for White Wednesday at Faded Charm I am going to share one last peek at my treasures headed for our At Home With White Show at the shop.
I am still gathering and painting but am putting some finishing touches on my displays.
Did I mention that I have my tent display set up in my house?
I do...right outside my studio, right next to my painting spot.
I need and like to be organized and ready.
Am I the only one who does this?
I went out to the hydrangea bush in my yard and picked off the old blooms and tucked them here and there...
I found these wonderful old mill shoe racks while treasure hunting with Jim a few months ago.
I love the way the whites just pop against the aged wood...
Ironing is one task I do not like!
I even hung the old shutters I painted that I will be using as "walls" in the tent...
Funny, both my kids said the same thing when they walked in the room...
"Mom, why is your booth set up in our house?"
Don't they know me by now?!!
I am also joining the lovely ladies of Ivy and Elephants for What's It Wednesday!
Have a wonderful day!!

Great stuff Girlfriend!
Real quick short -long story. Many years ago I was moving back to Pa and had a very limited budget. I mapped out the width, depth and height of the truck in my living room and pre-packed the truck right there within the space so that i would have no surprises and everything would fit. Which it did, exactly to the door. Until the truck broke down half way home and they sent a replacement, and we unloaded one truck in reverse into the new one... EXCEPT it no longer fit! Almost another small trucks worth. The professionals shook their heads and said HOW did you do THIS!? When they tried to get me to pay for the additional truck I refused clearly stating it was unnecessary, as I had not needed it when I PACKED the first one lol
And yes when I do a show I map the space and design out in my garage pre show every time.
lol Doesn't everyone?
Call me OCD OGM

Look at all your pretty things! I really love those frames...and the kids' comment. lol :)
Wow! Now that is what I call organized. Smart though. I used to just wing it pretty much every time. I usually spent the first hour or so of set up thinking it all looked like crap and then the next couple of hours, suddenly, it came together and I ended up pleased. Same deal, every time. LOL!
Wish I could shop your booth...it all looks great.
Hugs,
Judy
*sigh*...*BIG sigh*...all soooooo beautiful and wish I lived closer. I have no gumption to do one thing. Not tired out, just have no desire...don't know what that is all about. :)
Hugs~
But really, isn't setting up the most fun part of a sale? And you have time to play with...I mean perfect everything beforehand. Good luck!
Oh how beautiful everything is Sandi! I love the old shutters, that's something I've had on my "me want!" list for a long time. Your kids comment was too funny:)
Such pretty additions to your shop! I love the idea of using the hydrangea's in the baby shoes. Very cute.
No, you are not the only one who does this. I play with displays to get an idea of how my booth will look. You have some get things, btw. Here's to both of us having a great show.
Hmmmm...I'm wondering if Michelle will have enough room in her car for those shoe racks. I'm loving your faux tent set-up, Sandi, and I'm sure you're not the only one this organized. Can't wait to see it in person!
Sandi, You have been busy. Everything looks great. I love the old hydranga blooms. Smiles, Susie(She Junks)
you're killing me here! i can't wait to see it all up close and personal! ;)
Love Love Love all your frames!!!
Quite the collection!!!
Blessings Lori
Ok....having serious shoe rack envy here, Sandi! Those are just awesome!!!! I think you're one smart gal to set up your booth at home! If I had the room here, I'd be doing the same thing! :)
xoxo laurie
Everything looks amazing and how funny I stage in the house as well. It truly helps me get a game plan for my displays. Have a wonderful week

It all looks wonderful! I have never set things up in advance of my booth but I bet it is less hectic and stressful. I usually do everything by the seat of my pants!
Have a wonderful show...
Blessings

Sandi,
I L O V E that you set up at home before a show! I did the same thing only used blue painters tape to chart off the perimeter on the lower level living. Not as smart as you think, though, as I had to carry everything up the stairs! ugh! This is going to be gorgeous...those hydrangeas P O P!
Fondly,
Pat
You are lucky to have the space to be able to set up first at home. My kids already think we have too much stuff around here so they would freak if I did anything like that. Everything looks great! I only iron when necessary. Wishing you a great weekend. Tammy
Wow! I am so glad I came across your blog, it truly is wonderful! Great job with the booth it looks fabulous! You are definitely talented.
Hi Sandi!
This is why you always have such gorgeous spaces and displays! Practice does make perfect! Your home is a dream and so is your booth. Thanks so much for sharing with us at WIW. You're the best!
Hugs,
Patti
