farmhouse fresh...

Has this week flown by for you too?
I have been keeping so busy time is just flying by!

Thank you so much for all your compliments, inspiration and suggestions for my newly painted dry sink and mirror.
I have been trying new vignettes and am hoping to find the perfect one soon.

Not only have I been crossing off the projects on my winter to do list, I have also been working on lots of different pieces for the next At Home With White Show at the shop.

I have had this vintage hamper for a while...

It has made the move to and from my booth a few times.
So I thought a few coats of white would give it a fresh farmhouse look...

It is not in perfect condition...

It is in perfectly imperfect condition...

I like the way it looks in my downstairs bath that I just did over...

But I just bought this sweet old stool for this spot in the palest shade of blue.  I thought it would give another nod to the sea for the subtle beach theme I have going...

I need to stay focused.
I need to fill my space in the tent with white treasures and make sure my booth is whitened for the show too.

But I love it now...

This is going to be a long few months before the show!

Thanks for hosting ladies!
Thank you for visiting and enjoy your weekend!

Great new (vintage) look for your hamper--I had a pink one several years ago and sold it--now wish I still had it for my small bathroom downstairs. I love the wicker look of them--looks pretty in your bath!

Focus, Focus, sometimes it's very hard to be ruthless.

The hamper looks great with it's new coat of white paint but I have to say I like the tiny stool in the bathroom space instead. But then again I'm a sucker for stools and not a big fan of wicker so my thoughts probably are much help. LOL.

I like it painted white...and I like its imperfections. It has a story to tell.
Hugs, Evi
PS. The stool is charming too. You have a hard decision to make.

Doesn't everything look better with a coat of white on it, Sandi...?? lol! What a sweet hamper - holes and all! :) Your little footstool looks just like the one given to me by my grandmother years ago. I can still remember seeing it sitting in her bathroom on the black/white tiled floor..... :)

The hamper looks so much better painted but I can see someone who likes retro would have wanted it as is. Your bathroom is looking great.

This week has flown by for me too.

Oh I love old wicker and when you paint it white it just seems so homey and fresh. I'd have a hard time taking this to the booth also.

I think we had a hamper kind of like that growing up! I'm rather fond of your cute little stool too.
Thanks so much for your kind comment on my gray shelf makeover.

LOL! There is not one piece of the furniture in the world that's worth keeping if it doesn't have a story to tell!!! Just imagine all of the stories that hamper holds!

;-D Love it!!!
