inspiration origination...

I waited quite a while to start pinning...

And now that I finally do ~ I am hooked...

But tell me...

Do you "pin" from where you find something fabulous or do you wait and search and then "pin" from where the inspiration originated from...

I would love to know!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoy your weekend!

Lots of fun stuff coming up in my birthday month October so stay tuned!!

I just started to pin about a month ago and I pin from lots of sources; google search, on-line catalogs and blogs--on taking from a blog; I ask/let them know I am pinning--it's a great way to get other people to see your blog when someone pin's a favorite thing). I love it!

Pinterest is so addicting! It's like looking through a magazine every day! I usually click on the photo and make sure it links to the right post before I repin. If it doesn't I searh for the post and repin from the post. I like the new format that came out today!

Sandi,
Both are correct, and you can repin when you find something fabulous on someone else's pin.

I'm so behind, When I was reading your blog I had no idea what you meant when you said pinning or pin...so I guess you could say I don't pin.. Oh my I have to get with it. I seen your links below your pictures, I have to check it out, oh my one more trick for this old dog to learn LOL!

Love all your photos.

Hugs,
Melissa

Oh gosh Sandi,
I was pinning like crazy for a while there, but it has died down a bit now. I go through spurts and than a few sparse pins here and there. Whenever and wherever I'm struck with inspiration, I'll pin it. I think Pininterest was an incredible idea, I wish I would have thought of it! :0)
Hope your doing well and have a lovely Friday!
Sincerely,
Melinda

Happy almost birthday month to you! October is a busy one here with both boys birthdays and our anniversary, along with birthdays and anniversaries of friends and family members, too. I don't do any social networking or pinterest. My time is already limited. Blogging is enough for me. :) Have a happy day. Tammy

Well I have a pathetic story! HA! I can only pin while on the pinterest site. I have to search there and pin or repin others. I have tried and tried to pin pictures that I find, but my computer always throws up a yellow bar at the top that says the security wouldn't allow a download to that site. Have tried and tried to fix it to no avail. I sure do love Pinterest though!!

As soon as I see an image I like it gets pinned right then and there! I'm an October "baby" as well....the 8th...when's yours?

The word pin or pinning is new to me! But I just started blogging recently.

That chippy paint cream chair you have there is a dream!

If I don't pin when I see it....I loose it because I'm already excited about the next image. haha
So....I must be trigger/button happy. But having so much fun.
Have a great weekend. Bobbie

I do both, try to throw out new inspiration to others then grab some that pop up along the way....love it Only problem is it's hard to stop then I get wayyyy overstimulated with inspiration and start to spin in circles....not a pretty site. Could be a problem

Sandi, I wish I knew about Pinterest, however, I don't, so I can't help. You have caught my interest, so now I will have to check it out. Love your blog though, and thank you for always
stopping by mine!

thank you for pinning from my blog Sandi. I resisted Pinterest for so long thinking it would take up more of more time that I don't have. But I don't find that to be true at all! I love pinning. It's quick and easy and I now have a source of inspiration right at my finger tips instead of trying to remember where I saw something.

I love pinning and I do both! I love looking at what others have and then if I see something on the web I will pin it too. These are great images.

Good luck on the market and have fun gathering and decorating!!
xoxo
