A few weeks ago, Judy over at French Laundry invited her readers to send her a picture and share our view on the "beautiful livable way of decorating" that Fifi O'Neil celebrates in her wonderful new book Romantic Prairie Style.
I decided to get a little more mileage out of this photo...

What kind of hummingbird feeders do you use? I bought one off Amazon, I didn't want one of the ugly plastic ones so I bought one that looks like an antique bottle. I make my own sugar water because I read that as long as there's a bright color by the actual feeding area the water doesn't need to be colored. He buzzed around it a bit but didn't actually drink from it!
