I kept a few treasures like my Marie clock base...
And shopped my nest for some new treasures. I used one of the candle holders I made from the old lamp parts...
And I paired it with my vintage trophy ~ champagne bucket. It is a hotel suite after all...
I filled the bucket with some silk white hydrangeas...
And of course some sheet music...
I love this new vignette...
As you can see the old frame that I painted white stayed...
I just switched out the clock for one of my favorite mirrors...
No natural light yesterday because it snowed...again! I took a lot of photos with all the lights on and some with only a few on. And with so many mirrors so close to each other I had some fun...

I am debating on whether to change out the lamp or maybe just a different shade...
This is the spot where I relax at night and catch up on my favorite blogs and discover new ones...
Especially when Jake is practicing his drums in the downstairs living room, right under the upstairs living room!
Thanks for stopping by today to see my new suite vignette. Of course I am joining Kathleen at Faded Charm for White Wednesday but I am also joining Sarah of A Beach Cottage for her new party Good Life Wednesdays! Today should be quite an inspiring day!!
What great inspiration for me as I'm gathering up ideas and thoughts for my bedroom! I am planning a mirror collage wall and I like how you put a mirror inside a frame!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely retreat!

How beuatifully romantic ~ I Love it! ;-)
ReplyDeleteJust lovely! I would love to sit there and blog! About the lamp, I would try some other lamps...maybe one with a black base or even silver or glass with more of a drum shape?? Maybe you have a lamp from another room that might work!

What a cozy and so feminine little spot to relax in! It's gorgeous. I love the chandelier over your chair!!! The lamp is very pretty but something smaller would also look nice:) Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteWhat a comfy spot! I like the changes you made. The vignette is very pretty, the sheet music in the champagne bucket is a great idea! I also really like the mirror inside the frame.
ReplyDeleteHappy WW.

Just beautiful! Your vignette looks very romantic and what a perfect place to sit and read!
ReplyDeleteLovely vignette Sandi! I could kick myself for not picking up one or two lamps at Home Goods last time I was there. They were 39.99 and had burlap script shades!!!!!! I debated and didn't and now I wish I would have. One like that would look great in your Paris Suite.
ReplyDeleteHugs~
Oops...now I am thinking they had linen script shades and not burlap. At any rate they were beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking mini-makeover. It is very refreshing and does look a bit like a fine hotel suite! LOVE IT! Hugs-Diana

I love your new vignette. I am kicking myself, as I passed up a gorgeous champagne bucket/trophy at the Salvation Army last week! It looked alot like yours. I knew I should have bought it, phooey (it was only $5.00!)! And I really adore your mirror within the white frame, just lovely!!
ReplyDeleteOoooh Sandi...I love, love, love it! I am really crushin' on your chair and the serene surroundings you have created for yourself. So pretty. I am thinkin' I would hate to have to leave it.

ReplyDeleteHi Sandi! Oh, how I'd love to have an extra room in my house to sit and relax in. Yours is so dreamy. I love how you call it your Paris Hotel Suite. So fitting. It looks great, and liked it before too! I LOVE using empty frames as well. I think I'm addicted to buying them!
