my little reminder...

Good Morning ~ I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! It is a hot one here at our campground but we have been enjoying our lake and I hear that there just might be some water balloon fun today for the kids! Now, do you remember when I told you my sweetest little camping neighbor Catie brought me over some flowers to plant at my campsite on Mother's Day? Well she is here today as my little reminder... marie antoinette and a giveaway...

Giveaway time is here! The wonderful people at CSN Stores offered me a $40 gift certificate to any one of their online stores to give away to YOU!! As I began to browse through all their great stores Jim mentioned how he still wants to turn our den back into a dining room , so we took at look at their dining room furniture and thought this set might be nice. However we have also been looking for a new outdoor dining set for our deck and thought this set might be nice. Of course he asked the same question ~ "Why is everything you pick out white?" When will he learn!! Speaking of white ~ it is White Wednesday and Kathleen is hosting again over at Faded Charm. Today I thought I would give you a glimpse of some Marie Antoinette inspired treasures. First is this fabulous old clock that I bought from Mary Ellen... When I saw it I knew it would be perfect for my Paris Hotel Suite... I knew right away that it would look perfect with my mother of pearl opera glasses and my own "Paris" mannequin... There are alot of "Marie-inspired" treasures around the shop... Pretty in white and in color too...

Look how beautiful this piece is ~ I photographed it last week thinking it was a desk... But soon realized (thanks Mary Ellen) that it is a vanity... Full of wonderful treasures like this stunning vanity set... Just look how pretty...

more scattered roses...

Good Morning! I am back from another extended weekend at my campground which was full of good times, good food and great company! It was a weekend full of laughter, you know the kind that sometimes brings you to tears ~ just wanted to thank Sue for the best story so far this year! I laughed so hard I almost needed a tissue!!



Well I am back at my home sweet home and thought I would share some more scattered roses from around my nest starting with one of my favorite pillows...
My one and only rose adorned trading card from Will's Cigarettes with my one and only cabinet card showing a beautiful young lady with roses...That beautiful young lady with roses is my Nana ~ you know the one that I happily share with Jodie. Don't you just love the color combination in this pretty rose adorned tag... I use this cute watering can wall pocket to hold my scrap ribbon in my craft room (obviously empty since I have been MIA from the craft room)... This simple little rose canvas hides the ancient door bell hardware in my kitchen...Now I have been looking at this wonderful rose watercolor at the shop for the longest time and I finally took it home...

Do you remember the last time I showed you some scattered roses from my nest? In that post I mentioned Jo-Anne Coletti of Vintage Rose Collection and her visit to The Wrentham Country Store. Well today I can also mention the lovely Jo-Anne since I won the giveaway she was involved in over at Small Town Living! Just look at the treasures I will receive...

the one that took my breath away...

Well Hello!! The lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer are here and we are having a heat wave! I think it must have hit 100 yesterday. I know it was very hot in the shop yesterday afternoon while I was there. Since I have been enjoying the lazy days of summer at my campground and have not done any feathering of my nest at home, I thought that for White Wednesday I would show off a few whites that the other shop girls have in their booths right now. I have not hit any yard sales since I returned from Aruba but I did a quick hit at the antique malls in downtown Plymouth. I found this sweet little lamp... I spied this beautiful lamp in Jackie's booth... I also fell in love with this lamp that Jeannie created... Isn't that so cute! Jeannie's is so creative ~ I get lots of inspiration from her booth! You know how I love sweet vintage books ~ well I found a beautiful one in Plymouth which I'll show you soon. My little collection is getting bigger so I decided to part with a few that I put in my booth...
Uh oh...having seller's regret already!! Okay...moving on...Pam has some pretty whites for your kitchen...

Lee has this sweet little cart that I think would be so cute on a porch filled with flowers... Betsy has this lovely old hand made eyelet lampshade... Then Karen has this sweet little canister set that I really should get for my craft room...

Mary has a message board with the prettiest frame...However, leave it to Maureen and Pete to have the piece ~ the one that took my breath away... Just look at the wonderful details...

Maureen and Pete...you two make it so hard to be good!! I soooo could not sneak this one in my house! I always say to myself ~ if it is here next week it's mine! We all know it will not be there ~ sigh. Like I mentioned it is the crazy days of summer too and I am finding myself picking up a book before I pick up my laptop to blog hop and visit all my favorites. So if you have stopped by to visit ~ thank you so much! I am almost done with my latest book (yes I am a Twilight fan) and will catch up on my visits before I pick up the last book. Before I go I thought I would also show you the sign I made for my booth...I need to get some more cards made up with my blog address and put them in a cute little holder and hang it underneath ~ soon!
