red.neck chic...

After years of peeking in her Etsy shop and more recently, months of pouting because I live too far away to host one of her Soirees, I finally placed an order with the super talented Robelyn of red.neck Chic!
Her stuff is "...incredibly fun and extremely unique!"
Just look at her packaging and business card...

What did I buy?
A dish towel...

Did I mention how much I love her packaging?

A fun and unique dish towel for my new trailer...

A.dor.able!!

I asked if she could make some for my girlfriends too...

They loved them!

And, as if my cute new trailer towel wasn't enough, she made me this to go along with it...

Every glamper needs her own custom truck to pull her own custom trailer (towels)!!

She also gifted me one of her soaps...

And, if that was not enough treats, she sent this too...

I display my soap on it for now, it is too cute to open...

While I have not found the perfect way to display my towels yet, I thought I would show you how one of the girls did...

Pretty cute, don't you agree?!!

Sew, please take a peek inside Robelyn's red.neck Chic's Etsy shop where you just might find something fun and unique for yourself!
You never know what she is creating inside the single-wide!
Oh, and if you are lucky enough to live close by to host a Soiree, I am jealous.
For "a whole lotta fun and some duct tape", take a peek at her blog right here!
She will definitely make you *giggle*!

Thank you so much Robelyn!!

Thank you for visiting!!

junkin' time...

On opening weekend at the campground I put a little junkin' time in with the girls.
I found some great stuff for the shop but ended up keeping this old clock face for myself...

I love the contrast it brings to my shelf in the den...

The best part of the day was watching my bff Lisa, whose house burnt down on Christmas Eve, finally start to buy some treasures for her new house!!
The old house is slated to be torn down very soon with new construction to follow!
It was wonderful to see her smiling and finally allowing herself to get excited after such a terrible tragedy.
She has had a few other wrenches thrown her way lately too ~ when it rains, it does pour.
I would love it if you could send a few prayers her way.
Again, her strength amazes me and makes me want to be a better person.
Love you gf.

I am joining the lovely ladies over at Ivy and Elephants today for What's It Wednesday.

Thank you for visiting...have a nice day!

just stuff...

I hope your Christmas day was Merry...

We found out Christmas morning that our best friend's home caught fire on Christmas Eve.  Everyone is safe and nobody was hurt.
Even their sweet cat Lovey was saved.
Thank you God.

Coming together with our other great friends a few days later to help them salvage what they could, was a day I won't soon forget.
Unfortunately, they lost pretty much everything.
Seeing their strength as they sifted through the mess was amazing.
Through the tears, a few smiles and the sound of laughter began to appear.
As well as the positives.

They still have each other.
And the rest of it is just stuff.
My wish is that their good memories will keep them strong and help them through.

The rebuilding will begin and that time will help them heal...

Hoping they are all nested in their new home way before next Christmas.

I reminded her of just how much fun all us girls will have this summer spending time together vintage treasure hunting again to help her feather her new nest!

Thank you all so much for stopping by.
I would love it if you would keep our friends in your thoughts and prayers.

I'm joining Debra for her Christmas Vintage Inspiration party at Common Ground.
I would like to thank her for featuring my post from last week!

Have a great weekend!

thank you girlfriends...

A few Fridays ago I posted about making memories.

As I was taking these photos for my post today I could not help but smile as I remembered when I bought this.

It was a rainy Friday in July and my girlfriends and I left the kids and husbands back at the campground and enjoyed a day of shopping, ending up at a local Mexican restaurant for lunch margaritas and lots and lots of laughs!

I purchased this old tattered and torn vintage inspired "book".

It may look like just an old book...

But I am going to use this secret compartment to hold my memories from this summer.  While relaxing this weekend at my campground I am going to take a few moments and write down some of my favorite memories and bring them home and put them in my old "book".

Now every time I look at this treasure I will remember my girlfriends and all the fun we had that day.

Thank you Lisa, Karen, Beth and Sue for a memorable day and for a lot of other moments in time that will be remembered in my "book" for years to come!
Love you all!

I am sharing today with Debra for Vintage Inspiration Friday and Courtney for Feathered Nest Friday.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Oh...and for all you locals The Wrentham Country Store is having a big sale this weekend right through next week!
Hope you can make it!
