merry christmas...

Hope your holidays were happy!
I meant to pop in before Christmas with a few photos of my simple decorations this year.
Better late than never right?

Merry Christmas!

I am working on my annual favorite whites of the year post as we say good bye to 2014 and welcome 2015, so stay tuned!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

vintage holiday open house 2014...

Popping in today to share some scenes from our
Vintage Holiday Open House
at the Wrentham Country Store last weekend...

All the Shop Girls did a wonderful job decking the halls and the weekend was busy and lots of fun!
We also held A Special Evening at the Wrentham Country Store this past Thursday.  The shop was full of customers enjoying wine and appetizers with arms full of vintage treasures and holiday trinkets!  I hope this is one of many special evenings in the future!
Thank you to all who shopped both our events!

I know I am a bit late sharing photos from our Open House but I've been a little busy.
I started a small makeover of my kitchen right before Thanksgiving and am trying to finish it up before a Christmas Party I am hosting next weekend.
Also, I was busy setting up as a vendor in a second shop!
It is a multi dealer shop called The Vintage Peacock located inside the Winsmith Mill Market in Norwood, MA.
You can check out their Facebook pages here and here.

I'll be back next week (promise) to share some photos of my new space!

Thanks for stopping by!

It runs through Sunday for any locals that may want to attend!

Here is a peek at my space for the show...

Santa's watching...

I will share some photos from around the shop next week!

I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving with your family and friends.  Our gathering was small but wonderful!
I am so grateful for the friends I have made through blogging and am always happy when you stop by!

just stuff...

I hope your Christmas day was Merry...

We found out Christmas morning that our best friend's home caught fire on Christmas Eve.  Everyone is safe and nobody was hurt.
Even their sweet cat Lovey was saved.
Thank you God.

Coming together with our other great friends a few days later to help them salvage what they could, was a day I won't soon forget.
Unfortunately, they lost pretty much everything.
Seeing their strength as they sifted through the mess was amazing.
Through the tears, a few smiles and the sound of laughter began to appear.
As well as the positives.

They still have each other.
And the rest of it is just stuff.
My wish is that their good memories will keep them strong and help them through.

The rebuilding will begin and that time will help them heal...

Hoping they are all nested in their new home way before next Christmas.

I reminded her of just how much fun all us girls will have this summer spending time together vintage treasure hunting again to help her feather her new nest!

Thank you all so much for stopping by.
I would love it if you would keep our friends in your thoughts and prayers.

I'm joining Debra for her Christmas Vintage Inspiration party at Common Ground.
I would like to thank her for featuring my post from last week!

Have a great weekend!

wrapping day...

Today was wrapping day.
Since the kids were both home I closed the door to my bedroom (or my Paris Hotel Suite), lit my tree and got to work...

Do you find it harder to buy for your kids as they get older...

Mine really never ask for much...

They really don't "need" anything...

They have been more nice than naughty and I am sure Santa will be good to them...

As I wrapped I thought about the Christmas mornings when they were little...

And I realized how time flies...

And how lucky I am to have all these memories...

Then as I was finishing up, I continued to pray for the families in Connecticut and hope their memories bring them some comfort.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a peaceful week!

merry christmas...

It's time...

For me to sit and relax a bit...

Maybe put on some Christmas music...

And perhaps treat myself to a few of these...

I will probably putter (don't you just love to putter) and maybe put together a few new holiday vignettes...

It doesn't look like we will have a white Christmas here...

Will your Christmas be white...

Enjoy your day and thank you for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful holiday!
Oh, and one more thing ~ do you think this is Santa's other ride...

Merry Christmas!!
