it's show time...

This year has seen a few changes at the
One thing that has not changed is that the tent has been raised and our annual white show is this weekend!!
Our "At Home With White Show" is now our
"White Event".
The Shop closed early yesterday and is closed all day today for set up.
This is the first year I am not in the tent so I was able to stage my space in a few hours yesterday afternoon...

I am so excited to see what my fellow Shop Girls create in the tent!
I will be there bright and early on Saturday morning to take lots and lots of photos to share on the Shop's Facebook page, website and of course right here with you!!

Thank you for leaving the sweetest comments on my article in the latest issue of Artful Blogging Magazine!
Next week I will be having a giveaway for a copy of the issue!!

Next on my plate is moving to a different space at the Wrentham Country Store at the end of the month.  I'm excited to work with a new space and have stocked up on many shades of whites for lots of vintage treasures!

But for now...it's show time!!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!!

more white show sneak peeks...

It's that time again.
Time to raise the tent at the Wrentham Country Store and fill it with beautiful displays full of wonderful treasures for our fourth annual At Home With White Show!

Today and tomorrow I will be very busy but hope to share some set up photos on the shop's FB page as well as my own.

Here is a bit of what will be in my space inside the shop...

If you missed my post showing a peek or two of what will be in my tent space you can see it here.

The show is always so busy but there is plenty of time to catch up with friends and customers!  It is always great to meet so many new customers too!
I am also looking forward to seeing some of my blogging friends!
I can't wait to see Michelle and Susan again (cutest picker sisters ever!) as well as meeting Kris for the first time!!

Next week I will share lots and lots of photos from the show!
Thank you so much for stopping by and for all your kind words and support, the show is a lot of work but is so worth it!

Have a wonderful weekend!

white show sneak peeks...

I am almost ready to put down my paint brush and pack it all up for the fourth annual
At Home With White Show
at the Wrentham Country Store.

Would you like to take a little peek at what I have been working on?
Here are a few things that will be in my space inside the tent...

You can see more sneak peeks over on the shop's Facebook page too.

The show is next weekend, April 12th & 13th, 10 to 5 both days.

I will try and pop in next week with a preview of my space inside the shop.

flour sack towels...

I am in the midst of lots of projects around here and I love it!
I am working on two room makeovers in my house, pieces for my booth at the shop as well as pieces for our white show.

Today I have a few finished projects to share with you that I am bringing in the shop later today.
Before more snow comes.
Jim and I will be completing phase two of my booth makeover too (as for phase one, we painted one wall last week and it looks wonderful)!
I picked up some flour sack towels last week and with help of The Graphics Fairy embellished a few to tuck in my booth...

It was my first time using iron on transfer paper and it was fun.
I plan on making more for the white show.

A few weeks ago I picked up an ugly unwanted trunk at a thrift shop.
I wish I took a before photo, it was dark wood with some fruit painted on it.  Here is what it looks like now...

I used the modge podge method on this one.  As you can see I rubbed a bit too hard in a few places, but I like it...perfectly imperfect!
I am saving this for the show.  I am hoping to have a corner full of old trunks and suitcases.

A few weeks ago Mary Ellen and I went treasure hunting and I found a small, old bureau.
Again, I forgot to take a before photo.
I gave it a quick coat of paint and now it is ready to go in my booth...

Simple and Sweet!

This past Sunday was my three year blog anniversary!
It has been a great adventure so far and I feel like I have just begun!
Thank you for visiting!!

(white) home stretch...

Good Morning!
I just wanted to wish you all a wonderful week...

I am finally in the (white) home stretch before our show.
Today I plan to put down my paint brush and start to pack it all in, putting my tags on a few last minute projects...

Our At Home With White Show is this coming weekend!
I already know that a few of my favorite bloggers and readers will be there and can't wait to catch up with them!
Are you coming?
Let me know, I would love to see you!

more white show sneak peeks...

White Wednesday is once again being celebrated over at Faded Charm and I am joining in to share with you some more sneak peeks for our upcoming At Home With White Show at the shop.

I picked this painting up a few summers ago at a yard sale and it has been back and forth to my booth a few times...

Here is a little peek at what it looks like now...

I have been painting some new signs on vintage beadboard...

As well as gathering some prairie inspired treasures...

I am loving all the shades of vintage whites I am finding...

Maybe next week I will share with you what all these treasures are nesting on!

I have been recycling some old pieces and giving them a new look...

I removed the door to an old music cabinet to sell on it's own.

The old music cabinet looks great with it's new paint job and would make a great storage piece!

I must admit I am feeling the crunch but it is energizing at the same time!  I want to make sure I put enough time into all the little details for display, something I never got to last year.

Now, I must take a moment to share with you a little exciting news from my family.
My son Jake finally made his decision on where he wants to go to college next year...

We are all so proud of you!
You know, I thought it would be easier the second time around, but the happy/sad tears appeared again.
I am dreading the end of the summer even more now.

Thank you Kathleen for hosting and thank you all for visiting!
Have a wonderful day!!
