So happy the snow today did not stop the mailman from delivering the latest issue of
Romantic Homes Magazine...

I am included in their "Yours Truly" section...

Thank you so much Romantic Homes and Meryl Schoenbaum for sharing my letter and photos with your readers, I am very honored!

I just wish I had included my blog name in my letter!  Silly me!

my favorite vintage find...

Have you picked up a copy of the latest issue of
Flea Market Style Magazine?

If so, did you notice that one of my treasures was featured in their article, "My Favorite Vintage Find"...

They didn't share a photo, but it sits in front of my fireplace holding an old wooden carrier full of dried hydrangeas...

Oh, and while you are checking out the magazine, look who is featured right after me, Mary Ellen...

And here is Mary Ellen's favorite vintage find in her home...

The shop has been mentioned in Flea Market Style quite a few times, but this is a first for me personally!
Thank you FMS!

The past few months have been very fulfilling creatively...

And...I am working on a new project too.
Wish me luck!

Thanks for stopping by!

busy, busy shop...

Good Morning!
Just wanted to pop in and thank you all for your nice comments on the Wrentham Country Store's feature in Romantic Homes Magazine's August issue!
The shop has been so busy ever since, and we are all enjoying having our regular customers come in and celebrate with us as well as meeting new customers, some traveling from other states!

With the shop being extra busy lately, I needed to do some serious treasure hunting last weekend to keep my space full for our customers.
I headed in very early yesterday morning to beat the sizzling summer heat that we are having lately.  I love the way the sun shines in my space!  Here are a few new vignettes I put together...

I really wanted to keep this mirror...

I found two beautiful cut glass and brass compotes, one with prisms...

I also made some more french inspired flour sack towels...

Thanks to my friend Sue for picking this shabby old wicker bassinet up for me...

I wasn't alone at the shop early yesterday.
Quite a few of my fellow Shop Girls were in changing up their spaces and bringing in fresh stock!
If you are local, come on in today to see what is new ~ the AC is on!

I hope you all are enjoying your summer ~ I sure am!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

third annual At Home With White Show...

Where do I begin?
The Wrentham Country Store's third annual At Home With White Show was another huge success!
Again, my fellow Shop Girls blew me away with their inspiring, creative displays that they lovingly put together from vintage treasures and recycled pieces from the past, all in a palette of whites and creams, neutrals and naturals that warmed my heart and soul.
Take a peek...

I just fell in love with Jeannie's booth...

Next to Jeannie was my sister-in-law Christine who joined our shop as "White and Worn" last fall.  She did a wonderful job for her first time, don't you think...

Next to Christine was Sue, who always has a unique mix of treasures and blends them into a beautiful display...

The last (but not least) space I will share today is another new Shop Girl who also joined us last fall, Robin of Twisted Vintage (don't you love that name!).  She also hit it out of the park for her first white show...

In my next post I will share the other half of the tent, so I hope you will come back to see more!

I must send out a few thank yous...

First, thank you to all our customers friends, old and new, who came out and shopped 'til they dropped!  Your lovely compliments and support of the shop means the world to us!!

Next, thank you to all the Shop Girls for working so hard to get ready for the show and for being such great company all weekend!!

And finally, I also want to thank Mary Ellen for allowing me be a part of such an amazing shop, and also for including me in the creative process for this wonderful show!
It means the world to me!

I want to congratulate Mary Ellen and share with you all the exciting news that Jo-Anne Coletti came out and took some photos for an article on the show and shop for Romantic Homes Magazine's August issue!  Thank you Jo-Anne!

Dreams do come true!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you come back to see the other half of the tent as well as inside the shop...lots more to see!
