When I went treasure hunting with Mary Ellen a few weeks ago down to New Bedford I found a really unique piece perfect to share at Faded Charm for White Wednesday...
Isn't it fabulous! Perfectly chippy...
With pretty details...
Can you hear the music...
I wish it still worked. Don't you think it would make a great, unique accent piece in the right home? It is in my booth just waiting for it's new owner...
I am planning on sprinkling some Christmas in my booth before the weekend...
Well, I am off to visit Kathleen where I know the Wednesday whites will be wonderful!
Have a nice day and thank you for visiting!
that is a neat piece!
ReplyDeletePERFECT piece! Bet it won't last long in your booth!! Happy WW!

GREAT old piece. We had an old burled wood one in our house when I was a kid growing up and my Father listened to it all the time. I can remember him listening to polkas on it on a Sunday afternoon. I would love to have one of those in my house. Some lucky buyer will snap it up. xo Diana

That does have a lot of character! I love it painted white!
ReplyDeleteMy grandparents used to have a radio almost exactly like that. I think it actually got tossed out!
oh that juke box is DREAMY! oh my....i hope it is still there when i pay a visit to the lovely Wrentham Country Store next month! ;)
ReplyDeleteneat old piece. Even though it does not work, it will be a conversation piece. Don't you wonder, who set around this radio maybe listening to "The Lone Ranger"?
ReplyDeleteThat's such a great old piece. It would make a very cool end table or accent piece in someone's home. Bet it's snapped up quickly. The antique mall where I have a booth is having the holiday Open House the same week as yours. Usually it's so much earlier. I have been working like a mad woman trying to price all the stuff I have collected all year long for my Christmas booth. Also have been painting lots of stuff white too like old wood sleds and some non working musical instruments. Hope they all sell fast. Love your booth. It looks like my kind of favorite stuff!! Wish I could visit. xo
ReplyDeleteOh Sandi, I just love it!! It is really unusual and perfect! Your booth is looking beautiful!! I keep eying that lovely dress form. I have an obsession for those you know!
ReplyDeleteHope your having a beautiful week.
Sincerely,
Melinda
