vintage snail mail...

"Neither rain, nor sleet, nor gloom of night will keep me from my appointed rounds."
The Postman's Motto

For Vintage Inspiration Friday over at Common Ground I thought I would share the latest Etsy treasury I made.

Vintage Snail Mail...

One of the projects on my winter to do list (which is at a standstill) was to give my entry way a little makeover and I had thoughts of mixing in some vintage post office pieces since this is the spot where incoming and outgoing mail seem to end up.  Looks like my spring to do list just got longer.  How are your projects coming along?

Thank you for hosting today Debra!
Thanks to all of you for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

  3. What a darling treasury that is Sandi! That's a great idea for your entry way:)

I've been going non-stop in my tiny little home and moving things (and shopping way too much on Etsy!).

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  4. Our dining table is the catchall for everything. Just as soon as I get it cleaned up, it fills up with all kinds of stuff again. Spring cleaning needs to happen around here all year long. Good luck with your project. Inspiration is the first step. :) Best wishes, Tammy

  9. I absolutely love the idea of incorporating "mail" pieces in the entry way Sandi. Put that one at the top of your list. And I can't wait to see the finished project. I just finished a week long project and hope to make it my next post. Have a wonderful week. ~

  10. Hi Sandi, I'm glad you are doing well.
Hope you're getting better everyday. This is a fun vintage treasury. We are actually looking for a vintage mailbox for our church offering {our church is furnished with antiques}; I never thought about checking etsy.
Your home really is a pretty French country farmhouse.
Take care and have a great Sunday!

  11. Great treasury, Sandi! Sounds like a wonderful project!
We got a lot more of the chores in the garden done yesterday, and we bought the verbena hedge to go across the front of our front garden. Now, all we have to do is plant it... that will be next weekend though.
    Have a great Sunday!
    xo,

  17. Love your treasury with all the post office goodies. Most of what is on my spring "to do" list involves outdoor maintenance, not the fun stuff. I'd much rather spend my time creating something new rather than repairing what's already there.
    Have a great week!
