It has been snowing all night.
It is going to snow for most of the day.
No school.
Jake is hoping for no school tomorrow too.
I am hoping there is.
So today I am going to put a pot roast in the crock pot and putter around the house. Does anyone else "putter" around their house?
I sold a table in my booth late yesterday so I will also be working on a new piece to replace it. Then of course the cleaning and purging will continue. I have been doing lots of rearranging lately using treasures from around my nest in new places. This vintage mirror was in my kitchen...
I am doing a little makeover in the kitchen and this old beauty has been moved to the small hall outside my bathroom...
It replaced this one that is now in my Paris Hotel Suite...
I'll share it's new nesting place soon!
I love the color of the walls in this bathroom ~ a soothing pale aqua. I have removed all the pink accents I had in here like this sweet pitcher...
And replaced it with this one (which I had in my Paris Hotel Suite)...
I also put a bigger pitcher atop the cabinet and used the mirror here...
It replaced this pretty bowl...
I love the new look...
I just wish this room was bigger...
Hoping all these mirrors help to make it look bigger! Well, the lights are a flickering...I hope we don't lose power. The plows just went by outside...
I am not sure if you can tell but we have at least a foot and the snow banks are getting higher and higher. Jake just might get his wish.
As for me, I'll be puttering and thinking about my next move...
And of course visiting Faded Charm for White Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by today! I also wanted to thank you for all your sweet compliments on my new finds and family treasures! They truly touched my heart!
Have a wonderful day!!
The mirrors are beautiful and I love where you put them! I love how little changes and rearranging can make such a difference sometimes! Have a great snow day!!

P.S. I LOVE the snow!!
Your puttering is really paying off. I love giving treasures I already have a "new home" in my house. Sometimes it's better than the first choice. Your mirrors are beautiful. We got a lot more snow (on top of what we already had) so the kiddies are off today. I am going to try and putter :)

I did the same thing yesterday and redid some things in my home because of the snow too. check it out. Love your changes. Terry

ReplyDeleteHi Sandi, I was just watching the news about all the snow everywhere. Even in the south that only normally sees a few flurries, if that. Crazy! good to know that ya'll are staying put, safe and warm at home. I LOVE puttering, moving things around. I so need to purge, clean, organize. Maybe this weekend since hubby is away on a business trip. Take care and have fun piddling and puttering. Best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteHi Sandi. SNOW SNOW SNOW here as well. Love it when it is fluffy like ours and not heavy. Love your redo's. The mirrors are so pretty!! Happy WW!

L-O-V-E your aqua bathroom. We think alike me and you...I'm in the process of a bathroom re-do that features aqua!
ReplyDeleteI heard on the news that you are getting hammered with snow...I wa sin Avon for the storm of '78 and it took us days to get the driveway shoveled out. My brother had a snow mobile and traveled back and forth to hospitals transporting nurses and Drs to work and home. Hopefully it will melt away soon, til then, stay warm!! Your home looks lovely!!
ReplyDeleteLove the colour of your bathroom and the mirrors look divine! Yes ~ I do putter...in fact that's what I'm doing today! ;-)
