vintage nightstand...

Do you ever have so many projects going on at once that some mornings you do not know which one to work on so you don't do anything at all?
Or, even worse, start a whole new project?
That is just what I did today.
Please tell me at least one of you are guilty of this too!!

One of the projects I have been working on is my Master Bedroom makeover.
Here is a look at it before...

The walls before were blue and now they are grey.
Although my family says there is no difference at all now.
The bureau on the left has already been painted and has been moved to the other side of the room.
While treasure hunting this past weekend, I found a unique piece to replace it.
It is two vintage nightstands that were attached to make one beautiful piece...

This is perfect storage for all my jewelry and accessories...

You can see a little peek at my new curtains and my new bed side lamps in the mirror (which used to hang over my bed).

This is the duvet I want from Pottery Barn (just waiting for a new catalog and hopefully a 15% off coupon)...

I still have a long way to go in this room but thought I would share a little sneak peek with you.

Later this week I will share with you the new project I started, and actually finished today!

Sharing with Timewashed for Blissful Whites Wednesday.
Thank you for visiting!!

  3. Guilty!! I was just telling my husband that I've got so many projects fighting for my attention, that I feel overwhelmed. So I do what any sane person would do. Start another!

Your bedroom has a fresh new look already with your gray walls. I hope the bedding you've chosen is on sale soon so Santa can deliver it to your door!

  8. The double nightstand is gorgeous! It's so unique! I can't wait to see the rest of the room all put together:)

Because we live in such a small space, I'm not able to let projects go unfinished so that helps to motivate me to finish things as quickly as I can!!!

  9. So far...so great! I love the new double nightstand piece and your curtains (and that peek of gray on your walls). The PB duvet is gorgeous. And Sandi, I can totally relate with multiple projects at once and feeling so overwhelmed that I don't do any! Hmmm...better go finish some projects now. :)

  13. Guilty, Sandi! : ) I take the don't do anything at all route. Which is probably the worst thing to do because then I feel guilty for having done nothing at the end of the day. Ah well. We also have our master bedroom makeovers in common! I have been redoing mine {again} since we went up to a King sized bed and it messed up my previous decorating. I actually did do a few things in there yesterday and I just want to get a new pair of lamps. Maybe Friday I'll head to Home Goods and get them. Then I'll feel like I actually managed to complete something this week!
