on the menu...

I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful day with family and friends yesterday!
On the menu today ~ leftovers!
There is nothing like a gobbler sandwich the day after Thanksgiving!

Also on the menu today is finishing up a makeover on a piece I picked up on my NH treasure hunting trip with the girls.
Before...

After...

I am bringing this in the shop tomorrow.  Today is day one of the Wrentham Country Store's Vintage Holiday Open House, and Jake and I popped in quick today to pick up a piece of furniture I bought.  The Shop Girls did an amazing job, the whole shop looked magical!  I will take you on a little tour next week!

You may remember last year I shared with you that my best friend Lisa's house burnt down on Christmas Eve.  Well, the good news is that construction is finally under way after a long year of waiting.
Unbelievably, last night I got a call from our good friend Karen that her house was on fire!  Everyone is safe and the damage is not as bad, thank God.  We are going to see her later and help any way we can.  I know she would appreciate good thoughts and prayers.
Thank you so much and I am glad you came by to visit!

The roses on your mantle are so pretty. Dried roses are my favorites.
