pale gray and white...

I picked up this old nightstand last month at a local thrift shop...

Here it is now after a few coats of white...

You can't tell in the photo but I painted the knobs a pale gray...

I also used pale gray and white to make a starfish flag on some vintage bead board...

I brought both these pieces in the shop yesterday.

I work with Louise on Tuesdays and look at this wonderful old double sided sign she brought in yesterday...

Speaking of the shop...you can find the Wrentham Country Store on Facebook now!

I am new to Facebook so bear with me!

Today I am joining Kathleen for White Wednesday.
Thank you Kathleen for hosting and thank you for stopping by!

  11. Ahhh, what a gorgeous nightstand. Just look at the hardware on it, now that it's painted the hardware looks like the most beautiful embellishment. And i LOVE your starfish flag. That was so creative and clever and charming!

  12. Hey Sandi, great makeover. I like how you left the two bottom knobs but put a new one on that top drawer. Makes it unique! I'm crocheting up some little starfish at the moment. I like your beadboard flag. Have a wonderful day. Tammy

  17. Love your nightstand! I had a dresser and a matching desk in that pattern. Let my daughter take it when she moved out. Let's just say I won't do that again. I have some of the beautiful handles off of it now, but that is all...:(

  18. I love your make-over on the nightstand Sandi! You have the touch. that's for sure. I am awful on Facebook. I have been on it for over three years and have updated my status (if that's what you call it) four times total. If it weren't for my daughters tagging photos once in awhile it would look like I was never there.
