mannequin love...

If you follow me on Pinterest, you might have seen my "Mannequin Love" board.
I just love vintage mannequins and when I come across one that I especially love, I pin it and name her in honor of the blog where it originated from.

To share a few with you, there is Rene...

Michelle...

Melinda's girls...

and last but not least, Tot's girls...

I have one that I would like to give a makeover to.
Maybe I will decoupage it and dress it up to look like Melanie...

Or maybe paint it black and give it a french look like Yanet (from 3 Sun Kissed Boys when she guest posted for Suzanne over at Meridian Road)...

I just know that this old lady needs a makeover...

Come to think of it, I would love a makeover too!!

I will probably just paint her white and save her for the At Home With White Show at the shop.

Speaking of the shop and mannequins, look at this unique one Mary Ellen just found...

It is original, not painted!

Visit my Mannequin Love Pinterest board to see the rest of the girls.

Thanks for visiting...have a wonderful week!!

  4. Sandi,
I have a vintage dress form in my Studio. I named her Lizzie...short for Elizabeth! She dons my crocheted peach Spring top and gauze skirt. I've been thinking she needs a change...the photo of the black dress form is so very tempting...but probably won't happen. Thanks for sharing all these unique antique "ladies"!
    Fondly,
    Pat

  17. The girls are looking good, and I love how personalized they are! I'm sure your makeover will be just what your girl needs.
Wish I could adorn our home with one, but we're tight on space and my husband wouldn't give this girl an appreciative welcome. :)

  18. I'll have to check out your mannequin board! How cute all the names are:) I'm weird because I have no desire for one...I did copy the miniature dress form you decoupaged a while back and that's mannequin enough for me:)
