It was a beautiful day here in New England!
Mary Ellen and I had lots of fun treasure hunting in New Bedford today. It was so nice out we even had lunch by the waterfront (at the Waterfront Grille to be exact)...
New Bedford is nicknamed "The Whaling City" because during the 19th century it was one of the most important whaling ports in the world.
Jim and I have eaten at this restaurant a few times while treasure hunting. He loves looking at all these old fishing boats.
He has not named his own boat yet.
I took this photo to let him know this name is taken...
Well, I have covered the waterfront part from my title.
What does lakehouse have to do with this post you may be wondering?

ReplyDeleteThere's just something a little bit special about having a meal on the water like that - especially with all the boats nearby. I wish I wasn't so far away from the water :)
