Thanks for your great comments on my last post.
It sure is good to know that I keep great company when I am a bit forgetful!
A few weeks ago I brought home a wonderful old wooden crate.
I forgot to take a before photo...oops!
I white washed it and used a vintage french inspired advertisement from The Graphics Fairy and ended up with this...
I put a light coat of stain over it before a few coats of wax.
It ended up in my studio...
Making lots of goodies like this for the Vintage Fall Market Weekend at the shop!
Joining Kathleen for White Wednesday ~ thank you for hosting!
I am also going to link up to Brag Monday over at The Graphics Fairy...thanks Karen!
Thank you all for stopping by today!
Chocolat for breakfast anyone?
No doubt that crate was rather plain before and you've taken it to fabulous in a few easy steps. :) Hope your day is great! Tammy P.S. My 12 year old will only eat oatmeal if I put chocolate chips in it so they get that at least once a week for breakfast. :) I eat a bit of chocolate each and every day, but not for breakfast.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great look on the old wood crate. It really has a wonderful aged look to it.

Sandy
Oh how pretty! That label is ideal for that box.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely! Nothing better than customized storage - - better yet when it looks as good as yours does.
ReplyDeleteSandi, The box is so nice...I saw a few weeks ago that chocolate is good for us then last week, it was said that coffee helps us fight depression...say things are really looking up.Smiles, Susie
ReplyDeleteSandi I love your pretty crate! I don't think there is anything I like better than finding crates to store things in. I have some that could use you to give them a new face. I sure wish you lived closer my friend.
ReplyDeleteI laughed about your last post on putting things away so Jim doesn't see them. I do the same thing, and then when Dale asks if it's new I say, What this old thing? I've had it for awhile now.
hugs from here...
