As I am sure you will all agree, getting sidetracked while on line is very, very easy.
Blogging takes up a lot of time.
While I think it is time well spent, I think Jim may disagree.
I want to start pinning on Pinterest.
I also want to browse some idea sites like Houzz and Apartment Therapy to name a few. I also want to gaze at the beautiful photos from the many inspiring designers that I have discovered.
I finally took a little peek at some eye candy from Atlanta Bartlett.
(You know me, day late dollar short.)
This photo made me wonder if I could get my old grey lockers to look as amazing as this...
I have a mirror similar to this one over my mantle...
I love how the white looks with the dark wood.
Guess I have just added a new table to my must have list.
And, if I added a big, comfy, old leather chair to my living room...
That would make Jim very happy.
Something else I am adding to my list ~ a big mirror to lean in my Paris Hotel Suite...
Speaking of my Paris Hotel Suite...
I have one of those old french provincial bedroom sets (in brown) that I got for my 16th birthday. The whole set is in my son's room. But, I was thinking how great it would look in my bedroom if I could make it look like this...

Ok, I have been sidetracked enough.

Sidetracked is the perfect word to describe what we do...it's contagious and unavoidable when we have so much beauty to see! Love your post!

Abby

ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jacalyn
Lovely post, and yes! I agree that the bedroom furniture would be gorgeous in white!
ReplyDeleteHappy White Wednesday!
I get side tracked just walking by my computer....but if it wasn't the computer, it would be a magazine, so I say "what's the difference"?? I LOVE Pinterest and it is a greta way to file and reference any ideas you love - no more thinking "where did I see that?"
ReplyDeleteI know, I get sidetracked all the time and forget where I started. I don't blame you for getting lost with Atlanta Bartlett. You've got some great ideas in that savvy brain of yours Sandi!

Hi Sandi,
ReplyDeleteI love these photos! Especially the one with the big leather chair. I always loved chocolate brown leather against a white palette. I have a huge "I want" list too, and it keeps getting bigger and bigger!
Have a wonderful day.
Sincerely,
Melinda
SIDETRACKED? While on line? Why I'm certain I don't know WHAT you're talking about! LOL! Happens ALL the time!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Judy
Oh so pretty! Love the white with the dark wood. Makes me want to stain all the floors dark now!!
ReplyDeleteCareful...once you start pinning you'll soon be obsessed. Great pics...especially the attic loft with the lockers!
ReplyDeleteHey Sandi, love your inspiration photos, especially the white with the dark, big comfy chair and wooden floors. Very nice! Blogging is enough of a distraction for me. I don't do facebook, digital imaging, pinning, tweeting. As for all the things I make, it is a hobby and I like to just give things away or donate to charities that can sell them and then use the money for their cause. The mail system here is not reliable at all so I wouldn't be able to count on anything getting to where it needed to go anyways. Hope you are having a great day! :) Best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteI am afraid to start pinning because I am afraid I will have no "real life" at all then! Love this post though-xo Diana
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos!! I have to get up to date and get a Pinterest account but I have always been behind on the tech stuff....sometimes I think I'm lucky to get pics uploaded to my blog!
ReplyDeleteI'm easily sidetracked too but there is just so much fab stuff on-line!
