After a few days of blogger acting up and a few days off to enjoy another weekend camping I am back to show you a few photos from my Brimfield adventure.
First I must share that when I found some fabulous treasures to photograph that did not have a sign up that said "No Photos Please", I would ask permission first and more than half the time the dealer would say no pictures please. Sometimes they would say yes but just one. A few said click away. So between it being very crowded that day and my enthusiasm for taking pictures being crushed early, I gave up.
I loved this booth...their displays were beautiful...
I wish I got the name of this next booth. The girls were so nice and their booth was beautiful and full of inspiration...
I loved this piece. So much so that I went out yesterday and got a gallon of gray paint!
This tent was full of pieces just like this...
So beautiful!
The weather was not the best, a bit chilly and some drizzle from time to time. The sun did peek out for a few moments too. It was very crowded and we had to park far away, so we did a lot of walking. It was still a great time!
The highlight of my day ~ meeting Theresa...
Quite the pixie dust moment for me!! It was fun to get to know her a bit ~ she is a sweetheart!
Her booth was fabulous and she was kind enough to let me click away...
So many of her items had sold tags on them already, and it was early...

Thank you Theresa for letting me share your space.
It was such a pleasure and thrill to meet you!!
I heard Martha was there early that day as well as buyers from Tommy Hilfiger, J. Crew and Ralph Lauren.
What a fun job that would be!!
This week I will share what I bought for myself and for the shop.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a great week!!
Sandi, The pictures are just great!

Now that looks like a good time!!! All those treasures are gorgeous:) Funny that some don't like pics, is it because they know some people will go home and try to duplicate things? As if we don't do that anyway!!!
ReplyDeletehow wonderful for you to have met TOT. I would have loved to join you but it just wasn't in the cards for me this past week. maybe September! You saw some awesome tresors. i can't wait to see what you came home with.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to spend the day! Looks like some great stuff!! How wonderful to have met TOT...her space looked amazing!

Great pics. We loved the same booths. Theresa is sooo sweet. If the booths are not someones own creations and just great decorating I really never got the whole 'no photos please' thing. When we sold at Brimfield we were happy when people snapped away thinking ours was pretty enough to photograph. Anyway.....can't wait to see what you bought. I am going to post on that too. I wonder if we bought the same things:) lol

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing pics of booths I didn't get to see as not all the fields are open on the first day.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful things and a fabulous booth! I am so happy that you got to meet Theresa and how cool that Martha was there as well as other well-known peeps, that would be a great job to shop for the fabulous! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a great weekend and I can't wait to see what you picked up.
XO
Maybe I'm just a dork, but I'd be tickled if someone wanted to snap photos of my booth! Free publicity-helllooooo! :-) I'm trying not to be jealous of your Brimfield meanderings, but I'm not having much luck!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Judy

Ooh, I had been waiting for this much anticipated post Sandi! So awesome you got to hit Brimfield and browse the treasures. Sorry to hear about your disappointing photo ops and chilly weather, but how great you got to meet Theresa!! Her booth looks amazing and no surprise that there were lots of SOLD signs on her pieces.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what your keen eye brought home!

Sandi - sorry I missed you and Mary Ellen! I was there on Wed and Sat sharing a booth w/ another dealer from White Home (the booth w/ the "bird bench" in the pic that Mary Ellen took). I never got over to see TOT this year, I was too "bushed to boogie" :-)

As I will probably never get to Brimfield, I sure enjoyed the tour you took us on. I am loving the grays too. Just bought a quart of soft gray that I plan on using on a sweet old plant stand I found. The stand has a marble top so the gray will look pretty on it....I hope. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, my heart started pounding faster just reading this post. I would LOVE to go to Brimfield.
ReplyDeleteLooks like so much fun. Sorry they crushed your blogger photography - how dare they..

Thanks for showing pictures of my booth! We went to Iowa when we left Brimfield so I'm really behind on my blogging! It was great to meet you sweetie! Hope to see you again in July!
