benjamin bunny...

I picked up a new bunny figure at the shop the other day.
I think I will call him Benjamin Bunny...
I just loved all the tales from Beatrix Potter...
I remember having videos of these tales when my kids were little...
The video would also come with a book and an audio tape so your child could read along with the story...
I would read the stories to them as well but they loved to hear them read in the British accents on the tapes...
The best part was when my kids would "read" the story back to me in their little British accents...
More of Mr. McGregor's friends can be found at the shop too...

Wishing you all a beautiful holiday weekend ~ I hope you have fun with family and friends!
Now before you all go and start eating too many chocolate eggs or peeps go visit Debra over at Common Ground for her Easter inspired Vintage Inspiration Friday!
Thank you for stopping by!

P.S. ~ I would also like to thank Debra today for featuring my post from last week...how exciting!
Thank you Debra!!

  1. Sweet bunnies Sandi!! I had a pair of ivory crackled bunnies that were adorable and I decided to put them in my booth for sale. The tag said PAIR or PR of bunnies. Sold the pair , but they only took ONE so now I have a lonely sad little bunny at home with me. tee hee!

  3. i have many fond memories of Benjamin Bunny as well. Beatrix Potter was a very talented watercolorist and writer. her imagination knew no bounds. I recently purchased the DVD "Miss Potter"starring Renee Zellweger. It is delightful and so wonderfully captures Beatrix's spirit. A blessed Easter to you mon amie!

  11. Everything is lovely Sandi, especially Benjamin Bunny:) I love Beatrix Potter also, The Tale of Miss Tiggly Winkle was my favorite so my boys were forced to hear it.

I don't have much of a sweet tooth but I have a huge weakness for Cadbury Easter Creme eggs, I've already stocked up on them:)
