With our At Home With White event less than a month away I am very excited but I am also starting to feel the pressure. I can not imagine what all you Texas bound girls are feeling right about now!! Time is passing much too quickly...
It is time to roll up my sleeves and get busy cleaning and sanding and painting. It will not be a glamorous job but in the end well worth it...
Treasure hunting for chippy old white pieces or ones to transform with a coat or two of white is easy...
It is just the letting go that is the hard part...
I am shopping for pieces that I would love to put in my own nest...
And hope our customers would want in theirs.
When I took a peek at The Wrentham Country Store's website to see the photo gallery of what the other shop girls have been working on for the event I saw quite a few beautiful pieces that I would love to have! I can not wait to see all these treasures on display under the white tent waiting for a new home! By the way, Jim keeps telling me not our home! We shall see.
I would like to say thank you to so many of you for checking in on me to see how I have been feeling. Your kindness and words of encouragement have meant so much!
I would also like to say "Welcome" to all my new followers! I am still a bit behind but will be by soon to visit you too!
Of course many thanks to Kathleen for hosting White Wednesday over at Faded Charm!
I hope you all have a wonderful day!
Happy to hear you are feeling well...and obviously keeping busy, too!!
ReplyDeleteWow... amazing how you changed the look of all those pieces. I just checked back on your last post and saw the "befores". Want to come to my house for a week? I have tons of "befores" you could help me transform into "afters"! Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your blog and to blogging myself. Your home and pieces you sell are really beautiful! Good luck on your next big sale coming up!

I would have a really hard time letting that stuff go too! Maybe you can distract your hubby and sneak a few new pieces in:)
ReplyDeleteShug...I'm too tired to feel much of anything besides dirty! Any show no matter the size is a lot of work...especially when we all try to put our best "face" out there! Good luck with yours. Looks like you've really got a great start on it.

ReplyDeleteI'm happy to hear that you have enough energy to give this a go! Looks like you have some great pieces. You had me at chippy and white :) I have one of those 3 tiered metal carts just sitting in my garage. I saw one at a flea market for $72. I couldn't believe it!
