Happy Friday! To celebrate the day I am joining Debra over at Common Ground for Vintage Inspiration Friday! I thought I would share with you this old beauty I received from my thoughtful sister in law Christine...
A wonderful chippy old cracker tin! Thank you again Christine, you are so sweet! I found the perfect place for it on the ledge above my couch...
It also looks great holding all the beautiful cards I received from family and friends...
As the beautiful flower arrangements I received are beginning to fade away I had fun saving a few blooms and scattering them around my nest...
...inviting Spring to hurry up...
I am keeping my fingers crossed that I feel well enough to do a little treasure hunting this weekend! What do you have planned?
I am so happy you stopped by and hope you have a wonderful day!!

Oh wow, lucky you.. Alot of fabulous pictures and that box is so awesome, don't you just love how you can mix white and prettys with rusty and shabby.

Beautiful post. I love the tin. When I first saw the picture I thought it was a match to the wooden cinnamon box I found at a yardsale today. Aren't old boxes the greatest. You sister in law was so sweet to give it to you. I love how you have cards in yours. I am thinking about putting a vase of flowers in mine. Have a great weekend, ~~Sherry~~
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so beautiful, Sandi! I hope you're able to get out to the sales, too--get lots of rest tonight!

Sandi- Well, first off...I hope you do feel well enough to get out and do a bit of popping around this weekend-I am sure it is kind of a day-by-day recovery at this point.
ReplyDeleteI love that old tin. Don't you love it when someone knows you well enough to know how much you appreciate OLD things...and didn't rush out to buy you a NEW tin? Gotta love a sil like that!
Lovely blog today with all the flowers strewn here and there- xxoo Diana
Those pictures are amazing! I am especially loving the individual roses in the tiny vases....

ReplyDeleteI can't get your "follower" thingy to come up, so I'm going to try again later. Sorry! Sandi
ReplyDeleteMy father used to collect all those kind of tins/boxes. But that one is an amazing one. I like all the detail still on it and it looks right at home with all your wonderful white.
