I knew the time would come...

I am sure you all, or should I say y'all, have been seeing the posts from the girls who are all loaded up and heading to Texas for the big shows.  It has been exciting to see their sneak peeks of some of the wonderful treasures that they have been rounding up for their displays.

Seriously, I do not know how they part with some of those fabulous pieces!!  As I am preparing for our event I knew the time would come when I just could not part with a treasure (or two)...
I have been scooping up old clocks here and there for my display.  When I received a box lot from an auction I won I just could not part with this little beauty...
Now I need two more to start a collection...
I have also been busy decoupaging more eggs for my booth...
And I am working on some for the event too.

I wish I took a before photo of this old frame.  It was an antiqued gold...
I love it white...
Thank you Sandi for my sweet little nest!

The details are so pretty!
It is so pretty that I can not part with it...
I knew the time would come!

I am joining Kathleen for White Wednesday and Sarah for Good Life Wednesdays!

Have a wonderful day!!

  3. Beautiful displays Sandi and I ADORE that clock. I wouldn't have parted with it either. I'm so glad you love that little mirror and wicker table you bought from me. I had them both on my farmers porch last year. Would LOVE to see pics of what you decide to do with them.
    See you soon,
    Blessings and Hugs,

  5. Oh me I could so relate to this post. It is so hard finding items you think you will resell and then getting them home and falling in love with them. I try and try to declutter, but items just keep pulling at my heart strings. ~~Sherry~~

  11. I'm so glad you're keeping that clock. My father had a green one, and the face looks identical. The hands would glow slightly in the dark.

    Cheers,

  12. I seem to have that problem more often than not, which is why our garage looks straight out of Sanford and Son!

  13. Oh, I am drooling over all your whites, Sandi, and getting excited for your event! That clock is perfect (lucky you to find at auction!) and I don't blame you for not wanting to part with it. You don't ever want to regret seeing something go.

  16. Oh, I hear ya! It's so hard to let some go. I adore your vintage clock. I like the eclectic look they give to a room. I hope you find a couple more. Beautiful frame too.
My husband keeps telling me the idea is to sell and make money. Haha! I don't get it:)
    Hugs!!!

  17. Getting first dibs is a really good thing. You don't have to beat yourself up about passing over that perfect piece only to find later that it is gone, gone, gone. You can scoop up those perfect pieces and then if you get tired of them, pass them along. Lucky you! Sending warm wishes your way. Tammy

  18. I have been looking for a white serving dish like the one in your post. Haven't found one yet. Did you paint yours, or did it come that way? I love the thrill of the hunt as they say.

  28. I have a hard time parting with things also, but when I think where in the world would I put it....a price tag gets stuck on it and it gets packed away to sell.

    Love your decopauged eggs:)
