little white tree...

Shopping ~ done.
Gifts ~ wrapped.
Baking ~ my family prefers me not to.
Decorating ~ still tweaking.

Like this little vignette...
For the most part I love it.  It is simple with pieces I love like the sweet little stockings...
Vintage silver ornaments in some pretty vintage silver serving pieces...

Adorable little Victorian girl...

Then there is the little white tree I picked up at the shop this year...
Perfect size for this spot and I did not want decorations on it...
The base is even wrapped in burlap...
However I am still not sure if I like it.  Now most of my decorations have been up since December first and this tree has not moved, but I am thinking...

Maybe I should have made a different choice, like one of these silver trees...
Or maybe I should have just grouped a few of these together...
Hmm...decisions, decisions.  Do I take a trip to the shop for a new tree or do I stay home, light the trees, put on some Christmas music and clean my craft room?

At this point I think I will stay home, and of course take time to visit Kathleen over at Faded Charm.  I am sure I will be sighing all day looking at all the inspiring beauty on this last White Wednesday before Christmas!!
Thank you for visiting!!

  2. I love that tree Sandi! I also love the silver one as I have one just like it! Ha. I have so many trees I did not even get them all out this year. Is that sad or what! I have a lot of old bottlebrush trees that are still in hiding. lol

  3. I think you are thinking too much. :) Everything looks lovely! The little tree with no ornaments is sweet. I do love the look of bottle brush trees too. I haven't done much on the decorating front this year. Just a little bit here and there and a small tree in the corner of the living room. I got a late start with everything this year. My New Years Resolutions -- get organized and plan ahead. I think I need to start planning for next Christmas from now. Ha!

    Happy holidays! Tammy

  12. Hi there! It all looks so nice! I love that little white tree. I know what you mean - I rearrange some things over and over again until I love it. Maybe just adding a little shiny/glittery something as a topper would do the trick? I love all the silver, especially that ornate dish, sooo pretty!
    Have a blessed CHRISTmas dear!

  19. I like the tree you have. Maybe if you want it to sparkle a bit more put it in a silver dish. Or you could spray it with spray adhesive (outside) and then throw glitter at it. haha
thanks for your great comment on my blog post- it is nice to have such great blog friends.

  20. Hello Sandi,
I just love that vignette area you posted. The stockings are too cute. It's funny how some items we place don't always seem 'just right' and bother us for a bit. That happens to us all, even when the rest of the world thinks it looks great. Hope you've relaxed today & enjoy your Xmas!

  24. Looks beautiful! But don't worry, you'll play with that little tree until you find exactly the way you like it. I think it's cute as is, but you have to love it. Then it will be like the beam of light comes down and there will be a choir of angels singing. Oh wait, maybe that's just me.

    Merry Christmas,
    Judy
