bonjour vivienne...

Bonjour bloggers! I am joining in on the celebration over at Faded Charm where Kathleen is celebrating her 100th post and 500th follower all in the year since she started her fabulous blog! Congratulations Kathleen! It is the 40th White Wednesday too and today I would like you to say hello or bonjour to Vivienne...

My little pin cushion half doll...she has seen better days but I think she is fabulous. Looking a bit french to me I named her Vivienne. I would love to see her looking as wonderful as the pretty ladies that the Rose Garden Romantic has but on the other hand I fell in love with her looking just like this. She nests next to this sweet petite little lamp in my craft room... Lovely detail in the base...

The lamp was originally a sage green and came with a yellow floral lampshade. I found this dreamy white one on Ebay. I think it adds a bit of romance...
She holds her head high even under the watchful eye of the two beauties in the corner...

    She is so lovely!!! One of my half doll ladies is pretty beat up, but you can't really tell when she's dressed in her fluffy boa or sitting in a teacup! Just like you, I don't mind the imperfections- they just add more character!Now if I could just convince myself to feel the same way about my own physical imperfections! LOL!
